The NFL Draft 2024 is supposed to take place from April 25 through April 27. Arizona Cardinals are one of the most looked forward teams in terms of the upcoming drafting process. They’ve accumulated some good spots through trade and have a pick in almost every round. But the most anticipated pick is their first-round 4 pick that the fans are looking forward to.
Last year’s draft has been the biggest in terms of trades and swaps. The Texans toppled a lot of teams in terms of the prospects they acquired, including CJ Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. But the Texans don’t have a first-round pick this year. However, the Cardinals do. They have the No. 4 and No. 27 picks in the first round of the upcoming draft.

How did the Arizona Cardinals get here?
After the Cardinals beat the Eagles 35-31 in December, they ended up with the 4 overall pick in the upcoming draft. Like the Patriots and the Commanders, the team finished their season with a 4-13 record, which entitled them to a high pick in the 2024 Draft. Not only this, but the team also has the 27 overall pick that they received from the Houston Texans.

The pick from Texans to Cardinals came when the Houston team lost the playoff game to the Baltimore Ravens. It was supposed to be the Texans’ pick initially, but their loss turned the tides in the Cardinals’ favor. The first three picks belong to the Chicago Bears, the Commanders, and the Patriots.
For now, the Arizona team has two first-round picks, one second-round pick, three third-round picks, one fourth-round pick, two fifth-round picks, one sixth-round pick, and one seventh-round pick. A breakdown of what’s what is only fair.
