It’s on! TNF is here. The Ravens and Bengals are facing off each other. However, the latter’s coach John Harbaugh has come under fire for a dumb decision to challenge the Bengals’ possession of balls.
Fans are attacking the veteran coach. One fan took to X and wrote, “Yeah I don’t know about that one Harbaugh,” while another one mocked him by commenting, “John has been drinking today.”

All of this happened on the first play of the game. Bengals QB Joe Burrow made a pass to the TE Mike Gesicki for 3 yards which ended at the Ravens 2-yard line. Suddenly, the coach challenged the decision. The officials didn’t agree though and called it a full possession. However, that was enough for fans to troll the coach.
As expected, the game was evenly balanced between both sides. While the Bengals took the lead in the first quarter with a touchdown, their divisional rivals equalized it with a touchdown in the second half. John Harbaugh must be concerned about the outcome.
Both teams need a win. Another defeat for the Bengals would mean they go further down the rabbit hole as they would have only 4 wins and 6 losses. While the Ravens are fighting for the top spot, the Steelers are AFC North divisional leaders with a 6-2 win-loss record, but if they win today’s match, the Ravens would move to the top with 7 wins and 3 losses.

In a state of desperation, coach John Harbaugh might have made the call. However, he must have a little patience too.
Fans lambast John Harbaugh over his decision against the Bengals
Fans didn’t like his quick approach to challenge in the first quarter itself, wasting a timeout. One fan mocked his intelligence over that decision in 2 words which were, “was dumb“. Another fan was quick to respond with pretty harsh words while commenting, “Legitimately the worst challenge I’ve ever seen lol.“

However, John Harbaugh’s antics did prove one thing. He was all in from the get-go. There was no slacking. One fan was a little subtle while trolling the coach and wrote, “John Harbaugh moment.” He has been at the helm of affairs at Ravens since 2008. And knows how to apply pressure without going off limits.
That’s just another part of his tactics. It paid off in the end. With a 35-34 win, they moved to the top of the table for the moment. The race for playoffs would get intense as the season moves forward. Can they sustain it? Fans believe he can, and the locker room trusts him to lead the way.
