A group of four military veterans who rose to prominence as finalists during America’s Got Talent Season 14 are all set to win hearts again at Acrisure Stadium. Renowned for their heartfelt mission of raising awareness regarding the challenges faced by veterans and their families, they are indeed the best fit for the NFL’s patriotic performance of the national anthem.
And, not much later, Pentatonix, the Grammy-winning a cappella group will take charge of singing the national anthem during the Texans vs Ravens matchup. As their voice will echo at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, they will bring their harmonious tune to the audience. Formed in 2011 in Arlington, Texas, they hold three Grammy awards and are the winners of the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off.
Moreover, their estimated net worth is $40 million, with over 4.5 billion views on YouTube. The current members of Pentatonix include Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. Now, they are ready to bring their local touch and melody to the game.
How much will the performers receive as payment?
Given that their roles are quite high profile, Voices of Service and Pentatonix will not receive any direct payment. According to the NFL tradition, the artists who perform at pre-game, halftime, or sing the anthem don’t receive any pay. However, the NFL league bears the costs of production and traveling to avoid the artist’s overhead expenditures.

However, since the NFL stage, which is receiving a boost through Netflix, has such a grand outreach, the artists are bound to receive promotional value. So, it’s likely that they will see a rise in album sales, ticket revenue, and also their streaming numbers. One can indeed say that it is worth more than a direct paycheck.
Additionally, the highlights also include Mariah Carey’s pre-recorded performance of her very well-known Christmas hit, ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,’ which will kickstart the festivity. And, whilst the Texans-Ravens will break for halftime, Beyoncé, who is also a Texas native, will grace the stage. Indeed, Christmas this year is going to be a core memory for all NFL fans.
