Kleiman also mentioned that the Eagles’ opponents in the Brazil game will be announced on April 3 at 9:00 AM EST. The Green Bay Packers are the four-time Super Bowl champions, defeating the Chiefs in 1966, Oakland in 1967, New England in 1996, and Pittsburgh in 2010. Prior to this, it was allegedly reported that the Browns might be the team to battle against the Eagles, especially after Browns’ Mo Hurst’s hints. However, now the second team on the speculation radar- the Packers, is taking the top spot.

Green Bay president Mark Murphy, shared that the NFL is still deciding on the team selection for Philadelphia. It will be the league’s first international game in Brazil, and NFL’s debut in South America. If the Eagles and Packers are chosen for week 1, the Gang Green team will have to face one challenge, and that could be the logistics of travel. They might have to travel to Milwaukee by bus before flying to Brazil, potentially putting them at a disadvantage.
