The Washington Commanders’ placekicker and his wife looked like characters from the movie “The Godfather” the day they got engaged.

Maybe that’s an exaggeration. But that drop-top Alfa Romeo in the background is as Italian as a photo can get. But enough raving about the Alps and the gorgeous car. Let’s talk about Zane Gonzalez and his wife Lizzy, who got married not long ago, and even have a child on the way.

Who is Zane Gonzalez’s wife, Lizzy?

Before anything, it looks like Lizzy is a travel aficionado. Her Instagram profile which boasts 8.2k followers is full of her escapades across Europe. Italy, Germany, Netherlands, France, you name it. However, her drive for fitness is just as impressive as the stamps on her passport. She has been on this fitness journey for the last 8 years or so. How do we know? Her IG says so.

Her post from nearly a decade ago shows her grinding in the gym. The video of her doing pull-ups was captioned, “Slow and steady wins the race! JK I was just tired.” Well, like everyone, she does have cheat days. A photo of her drinking beer is proof that you work out and have a couple of drinks now and then. The pictures on her Instagram profile are a bucket list for many.

But there’s more to her fitness journey. About a year or so ago, the Commanders’ kicker’s wife uploaded a picture of her fitness journey and how far she’s come. Perhaps slow and steady does win the race. But she had to make some changes to win and now, she’s in her “healthy girl era.”

The picture captioned, “In my ✨healthy girl✨ era. Tbh I’ve looked the same physically since high school and that has yet to change but I’m cleaning up the diet lately, so that counts,” shows Lizzy in workout clothes and in all honesty, all those years of being consistent has toned her body up.

But there’s more to her life than traveling, having an occasional drink or two, and taking stunning pictures. After all, she got married and the couple has a baby boy on the way.

Married life ain’t that bad

That’s what Lizzy wrote in an IG post she uploaded about 7 months ago. The post titled, “Ok, maybe a wedding isn’t such a bad idea,” shows the couple in a classic wedding attire with beautiful white roses in the backdrop. Zane is dressed in a black tuxedo and Lizzy is looking gorgeous in the red dress. But not long after their wedding, things changed. Of course, for the better.

Around September, she uploaded the first picture of her baby bump on IG and there’s no denying that Lizzy is on “cloud nine” as she’s about to welcome “Mi cielito lindo.” The photo shows her standing in front of a board that says, “Baby Luca” on it. The couple has decided on a name already, so that’s great news.

The Gonzalez duo announced in another IG post that they are expecting baby Luca in December 2024. Of course, their lives are about to change forever when they welcome a little cute boy in their lives.
