Behind every athlete, there is someone special who cheers from the sidelines. And for the ex-Saints LB, Zack Baun, that someone is none other than his wife. While we know about Zack Baun’s career-high 300 snaps from his last season, how much do we know about Ali Baun?

Formerly known as Ali Duquaine, the journey of Zack’s wife is nothing short of impressive, starting from her days as she grew up in West Bend. Born to dad Ed Duquaine and mom Gina Duquaine, Ali was well immersed in her academic life. While we don’t know much about her siblings, A.J. and Brooke, we know that Ali got her degree in Communication and Media studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Moreover, her academic career was not just about hitting the libraries, as she honed her skills to build a foundation for her future.

Mrs Baun’s professional life was just a testament to her dedication and hard work as she jumped into various roles right from the start of her career. She has worked as a lead Resident Relations Coordinator for Steve Brown Apartments, from where she shifted her role as a marketing and event coordinator for Cambridge Winery. Moreover, Ali has also been a WS Development property coordinator and a wedding photographer for Ad Photo Co. But apart from her getting involved in her professional life, what else did she get from her academic career?

She got the love of her life, Zack Baun! The lovebirds met at the University of Wisconsin, where Baun was a class player for the Wisconsin Badgers. The relationship grew stronger, from being college sweethearts to life partners. On 14th October 2020, Zack and Ali got hitched in a blissful ceremony in New Orleans. While reflecting on their special day, the LB shared, “I married not only my best friend but the love of my life. Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you- I love you forever.” Ali Duquaine Baun didn’t hold back from expressing her love as she wrote on social media, “That over-the-moon type feeling.. well I’m drowning in it. Yesterday I married the man of my dreams, under the sun, in the city we now call home. Here’s to sharing a lifetime of love, laughter, and light.” And then came the next chapter in the couple’s life.

Sharing a picture of her baby bump on an IG post, Ali captioned, ”The next chapter.” The couple welcomed their first baby in April this year. Ali couldn’t hide her happiness as she shared sweet Elian’s picture, captioned, “Welcome home, Elian.” Since then, the mother has been sharing the cutest moments with Elian, as she was seen feeding her baby in May, captioned, “one month of our bestie baby.” Apart from being a caring mother, Ali seems to be a supportive partner, too.

Ali Baun: The on and off-field constant for Zack

A flexing picture of Baun was seen on Ali’s IG account, where she celebrated her husband’s glory as an LB on 8th January this year. And that wasn’t all, as Ali Baun was also seen greeting Zack after a match in September last year. Moreover, her eyes were filled with joy as she was snapped while she ran to her padded husband at the sidelines. In addition, she shared the wholesome moment with a heartfelt caption, “Back for @zackbaun.” And that’s not all.

The couple was spotted on a Northern Wisconsin tour in 2023. Zack seemed quite happy in a snap as he was found rowing a boat in the middle of the grey water. Furthermore, Baun’s partner shared the blissful moment with the caption, “The best weekend celebrating our greatest friends in our favourite place🫶🏼.” Moreover, the couple spent some quality time in Louisiana later that year.

Well, it looks like Zack Baun has got the best supporter of his life. Can we expect to see Ali Baun at the Eagles‘ season opener against the Packers on 7th September?
