You don’t always find a place to call home straight away. Sometimes you have to slog and slog and you still don’t get anywhere. Well, you’ll find that place where you belong sooner or later. For defensive end Zach Sieler, that home was with the Miami Dolphins.
That came after a rough start in the NFL in 2018 with the Baltimore Ravens, who never really backed him. He only started in one game with them, and must have grown quite frustrated. Thankfully, in this period, he’d already found his life partner, Hannah. Her support must have made the tough times easier to breathe through.

Hannah Sieler was born Hannah Cook to parents David and Darla Cook on November 4, 1995. She came from a large family, one of 4 kids, which might be where she got her competitive spirit from. Growing up in Ozark, Missouri, she channeled that spirit into her highschool basketball career with Ozark High School. By the time she graduated in 2014, she’d become the career leader for Ozark in both steals and points, 303 and 1,564 respectively. Standing at 6’0″, she was perfect to play guard.
Mrs. Sieler used this talent to catapult herself into a position in the Univerity of Alabama’s women’s basketball team, where she made her mark. By the time she graduated in 2018, she was the 8th highest all-time scorer for UoA, with 1,468 points, and had the most attempted 3-point field goals at 781 attempts. The team even made history by being the first to beat Tennessee at home in Knoxville. Other highlights include them traveling abroad to play in Iceland, where the team performed admirably.
Through all this, of course, Hannah Sieler had the privilege of being supported by her wonderful family. Even though both David and Darla were working full-time, they managed to show up for her games, anyway. Given they lived in Missouri, that’s quite the journey. David Cook reportedly took a part-time job at the airport to fund plane tickets. Of course, when Hannah’s big brother Easton got a job with Delta Airlines, the family started flying over even more frequently, taking advantage of the free tickets.

The image that’s painted of Hannah is one of a hometown gal, enamored by local treats like Andy’s Frozen Custard, and devoted to her family to a fault. She majored in communications at UoA, setting her up for her future. And all this before she even met Zach Sieler.
When did Hannah Cook get married?

Have an interesting take?
Let’s start at the beginning. We actually know exactly how things got started. In September 2018, Hannah’s final year at uni, she met Zach Sieler for the first time. They went out to an Italian restaurant in Baltimore, just a couple days before she and her team shipped out to play in Iceland. From there, they started dating, and Hannah supported Zach during his time with the Ravens, who even demoted him to the practice squad at one point.

But they braved it together, and less than 3 years later, with things a lot better settled for the two of them, Zach proposed, in March 2021. And of course, right after she said yes, Sweet Home Alabama started to play; it hit everyone there right in the feels. Less than a year later, in February 2022, they got married at the Sieler estate. It was everything they could have dreamed of, surrounded by loved ones, together at last.
Just earlier this year, in March 2024, Hannah gave birth to a young one, Stetson Sieler. The young man’s already a Dolphins fan, and Hannah frequently brings him along to Dolphins games to support his old man. With their family growing and football season in full swing, both partners have their hands full. We can only wish them the best of luck.
