If COVID-19 affected a person’s dreams, it had to be Broncos  placekicker Wil Lutz and his wife Megan. They had planned a lavish marriage with friends from all over the country. Everything was set, but because of the pandemic, she had to settle for a comparatively smaller function, with only family and close friends present.

She had then said that they could celebrate it later. And they did. In June 2021, the couple had an extravagant party at a waterfront property in Louisiana. Everyone was invited. And those who missed the original wedding enjoyed it a lot, sharing moments of joy with the couple. He also posts photos with his wife on social media regularly. On their 4th marriage anniversary, he posted their wedding photos and captioned, “3•27•20 4 year ago we tied the knot. 3 years ago we celebrated it. 2 years ago we grew. Cheers to whatever life brings next! We love you Megan! ❤️”

The kicker has been dating Megan since he arrived at New Orleans Saints. After dating for 2 years, he was sure that she was right for him. On May 30, 2019, he popped the big question to her, Will you be mine? The same day he was signed with New Orleans. He even bought a house in the city to live with his then-fiancee the whole year around.

Over time, their marriage has given them enough reason to party. Their first son, Own, was born in 2022. In 2024, they welcomed their second son, Jack Thomas.

It’s a sweet love story. They love partying and traveling together.

Megan Lutz, a Niceville, Florida native, was born on July 31, 1993. She wears many hats in her life as well. She works as a nurse at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Apart from that, she loves working out. She is also an instructor at the Romney Studios.

Megan is also a dog mom. Wil was always amazed by the people who had dogs, hence he convinced her to adopt a dog. In 2020, she became the proud owner of an English retriever named Nash. They wanted to give their dog a unique name. Both lived at Nashville Street, hence they found Nash to be perfect. In 2022, they took their love for dogs one step up by adopting another English retriever named Benny.

The sweet wife accompanies her husband in everything he does. She is the rock in his life. Be it traveling and doing adventure activities such as skiing or being with him when he injured his shoulder, she takes care of him in everything he does.
