Trevor Keegan is in the headlines, and for many reasons! Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, he is in the offensive guard position with the team. An alumnus of the University of Michigan, he is in the news for yet another reason. It is for his heartwarming relationship with his long-time girlfriend, Sophie Housey, a former Michigan Wolverines swimmer.

Sophie Housey, who hails from Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, holds exceptional talent in swimming. After graduating from Liggett High School, she joined the Wolverines swimming and diving team at the University of Michigan as a freshman in 2020. And it didn’t take much long for her to shine, taking away the prestigious titles at the Big Ten Conference.

Talking about her list of accolades, it is quite extensive. She won the CSCAA All-American title for the 400-yard Freestyle Relay and two CSCAA All-America Honorable Mentions.

And, her role in the Wolverines’ Big Ten Championship in various instances adds to the list. She is a phenomenal swimmer, and with her athletic demeanor, she vividly complements Keegan, making them a dynamic duo.

The loving relationship between Trevor Keegan and Sophie

Sophie and Trevor frequently keep their fans updated about the milestones in their relationship. Posting through her public account @sophiehousey, she recently shared glimpses from the celebration of four years of togetherness with Trevor, vacationing at Harsens Island, on July 4th. The couple officially started dating back in 2020, when they were student-athletes at the University of Michigan.

In many instances, they’ve shared glimpses of their lives. One of the notable posts was Trevor’s “Picture Dump,” as Trevor dressed up in a plum-colored suit, complementing Sophie in a black, backless dress. Another series of photos by Sophie also featured Trevor wearing all four of Michigan’s national championship rings.

In one of the posts, as Keegan donned the purple jersey with number 77, Sophie hugged Trevor on the field during the national championship game. And, even during other face-offs between Michigan and Alabama in the Rose Bowl, and victory over Purdue in 2022, Sophie lovingly posed with Trevor, celebrating his victories.

Sophie had also shared a video of former head coach Jim Harbaugh, who got a “15-0” tattoo to cherish the Wolverines’ undefeated season with Trevor, showing her deep involvement in football.

Not just this, during Trevor Keegan’s 23rd birthday, she made a heartfelt social media post with the caption, “ILY HAPPY BDAY.” Both Sophie and Trevor hype each other on countless occasions, making them a fan-favorite.
