Beyond her academic life, she is a loving daughter and of course a caring wife and mom in her personal life. According to her Facebook profile, she loves to cherish little things with her family and friends. She is often seen to express her love for her parents and family.
In 2021, she gave a heartfelt tribute to his late dad, Layne Paul Buckingham who passed away in 2016 through an FB post. Not only this, but her bond with her mom is also not hidden from anyone. Her Mother’s Day post went viral in May 2024. It indeed showcased her affection with her parents.

“In 2005, he was hired on by the 49ers. He’d always expressed to me that someday he was going to be a GM,” she stated. Not only this, she also shed light on the toughest ‘family decision’ ever. “That was his ultimate goal, and I think Katy was maybe a freshman or sophomore, and she wanted to stay in school. Cass was in middle school, so we sat down with them one day and we just said, ‘Here’s the deal, what do you guys think?’ It was a family decision,” Mrs. Baalke chimed in further.
Not only this, their mutual bond also went viral in 2021, when they both purchased a home in the same South Jacksonville neighborhood- roughly a mile away from Urban Meyer’s residence. It indeed reflected that with mutual love and support, they both have been embracing their marriage.
