The 2023 season was rough for many players and staff, including Tom Telesco, who was officially let go by the Los Angeles Chargers. Tom Telesco is married to his long-time partner, Larah Telesco. Like GM Telesco, Larah is also originally from upstate New York. She met Tom in Charlotte, North Carolina, while working in the Panthers’ scouting department. Their journey together took them to Indianapolis, where Tom spent 15 years with the Colts. He then moved to San Diego for four years as Tom began his career with the Chargers. Then, moving ahead, by the summer 2017, the family relocated to Newport.

It is reportedly believed that the couple share a great loving bond with each other, and hence, have been together for over 20 years now. They also share three children – daughter Elena Telesco, and sons Thomas & Nicholas Telesco. By profession, Larah previously tried her hands in advertising and software sales until their second child was born. About 4 years ago, when Tom Telesco was with the Chargers, his daughter interviewed him about his picks. After Day 1 of the 2020 draft, daughter Elena Telesco joined the presser as Team Correspondent, and interviewed her father, Tom. She first introduced herself and her father on air, then kicked off her questions with a smile. Reading from her phone, Elena asked, “Dad, you made two picks. Tell us about them.”

Proudly Tom replied with a smile that the team was excited about the picks and they were the ones they were looking for. Among those picks was Justin Herbert, who was drafted sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Telesco also showed confidence in Herbert, hoping that he would fulfil all the quarterback demands for LA.

And to their expectations, Herbert reportedly remains one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league, with a 68.9 passing grade under pressure last season. However, now Telesco is working for Raiders, and the franchise is hoping for a positive outcome in this upcoming season.
