He was born to Kenneth Sherry and Rene Sherry in Spanaway, Washington. Kenneth loved sports, particularly baseball, and always pushed his son (Tyler) to play sports. He did, but life had other plans for him. After studying at Washington High School, Parkland, he moved to Washington State University in 2015. Tyler Sherry pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in Sport Management with a minor in Business Management and Communication, which he passed in 2019.
The chain wearer worked in various other activities, such as a summer associate at Sherwin-Williams. Even at WSU, he was a student assistant in the Athletics department. With a knack for filmmaking, he was responsible for making highlight reels for social media. In 2019, he was an equipment intern for Demon Deacons. After graduation, he was forced to look for other options. And he found one. In 2020, Tyler Sherry landed a job at Wake Forest University as Assistant Director of Football Equipment Services.
He has gained management experience from some unusual places for a football assistant. From May to July 2018, he worked as a shop assistant at Depalo & Sons Auto Body in Huntington, New York. He is also proficient in brand and image management. His viral images with the No. 3 chain show that.
