Caught in a spiral… Apt phrase for this situation because if we start talking about Patrick Taylor Jr.’s NFL journey, there won’t be an end to it. Let’s just say it’s a weird one, at least. Back in 2023, he didn’t even have time to process being cut by the Packers before his agent called—literally three minutes later—to say he was heading back to Green Bay. Fast forward to 2024, and Taylor is now suiting up for the 49ers, stepping into a battered backfield with Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason out.

But like we said, if we get into it that’s a spiral. Let’s save it for another time. As for today… we are here to talk about that agent. It was her wife. Lauren Taylor. Like they say: They can’t get enough of you when they love you. Yup, the Taylors are the living proof of that.

Who is Patrick Taylor Jr.’s wife, Lauren Taylor?

It’s Lauren who has got it all planned to the T for herself and hubby Patrick Taylor Jr. Calling her better half would be an understatement… Hand her the MVP trophy. But unlike most football couples plastered all over the ‘Gram, Lauren’s has kept it lowkey. She rarely speaks publicly, and Patrick isn’t one to overshare either.

As for what’s known: This duo’s story is straight out of a rom-com. Now, we don’t say it just for the sake of it. I mean, you can be the better judge of it. They met in 2018 at a Bible study while Patrick was tearing it up on the field at Memphis. A meet-cute with a spiritual twist? Hollywood, take notes.

Now, circling back to her lesser-known personal life. There’s a reason for it. Until recently, Lauren kept her Instagram private, giving the internet sleuths little to work with. Even now, her 1.7k followers only get a peek. But here’s the fun part: Lauren’s an artist, and Patrick’s journey often inspires her creations—hello, Niners graphics!

What’s your perspective on:

Is Lauren Taylor the real MVP behind Patrick's NFL journey? How crucial is spousal support in sports?

Have an interesting take?

That speaks volumes about her support for him. No wonder Patrick once said before their wedding: “I’m trying to make sure everything’s A-OK with the lady… making sure she’s not stressed out for the big day.” A man who’s as good with the wedding planning as he is on the field? Lauren’s got herself a keeper.

When did Patrick get married?

“I do!” Two little words, carry enough weight to change two people’s lives forever. But the best is they do it together. On June 26, 2022, Patrick Taylor Jr. and Lauren exchanged vows to seal their love story with a Texas wedding. Were they really competing with rom-com ending scenes? Don’t be surprised if they were considering how their romance kicked off.

After four years of knowing each other, these two finally said yes to forever. And let’s be honest, they’re one of the NFL’s most lovable couples. Audrey Hepburn once said, “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other,” and these two seem to stick to it.

But let’s rewind to April 27, 2020. Patrick’s proposal. And it was as quirky as it could have gotten—because nerves, right? With a sign that read “Will you marry me?” (the question mark hilariously misplaced), he popped the question. He later captioned the moment: “So I put the question mark in the wrong place but you know I finessed it 😂❤️🤟🏾💍.”

They weren’t stopping by any means. A question mark, misplaced? Yeah, that just made him look even cuter in Lauren’s eyes. Now fast forward to today, and their family has grown by one—a baby boy born this May. If you’re at Levi’s Stadium the Thursday Night Football against the Rams, and spot a lady with a baby boy in her arms, repping 49ers’ #32 jersey, just know you’ve found the Taylors. Patrick’s cute little family.
