Apart from that, Mrs. Folk has also kicked off a podcast called A League of Her Own which appears to be an unofficial NFL podcast where she would probably offer her insights on all things American football-related.

Back in the day, Julianne was also the occasional emcee for the NBA during some of its tours and events. Apart from her interest in football and basketball, Julianne loved bragging about her soccer skills. This is exactly how her relationship with Nick ultimately came to be.

When did Julianne & Nick Folk get married?

Julianne attended the University of Texas and probably clung on to her passion for soccer and fitness even back then. But this love story doesn’t go so predictably. Unlike most other NFL love-birds, neither were Nick and Julianne high school sweethearts, nor did they meet in college.

Nick Folk went to college in Arizona state and continued his zest for the sport that he is currently pursuing. He had his NFL debut with the Dallas Cowboys in 2007, and his last year with them was 2009. This is when he met the beautiful woman he calls his wife today.

On the evening before Valentine’s Day in 2009, Nick and Julianne lucked out and met in Texas. When they got to talking, the lady had no clue she was talking to the placekicker of the Dallas Cowboys. Julianne couldn’t help but brag about her soccer skills.

Nick Folk had the perfect idea to ask out a girl that he liked, the both went on their first date the very next week to face off in a game of soccer. Nobody has a clear idea as to who came out as the winner that day, but the two of them definitely found partners for the rest of their lives.

Since then, they have welcomed four wonderful children, twins Gage and Davis, Annabelle, a daughter, and Ben.
