As per the latest reports, Michael Wilhoite was arrested in the Denver downtown jail on Sunday. The reported suspicion on him was of second-degree assault of a police officer. As he is scheduled to appear in Denver County court on Monday morning, fans are eager to know about his personal life, especially his life partner.

Michael Wilhoite has been officially married to Jacqueline Alvarez for 6 years. According to some outlets, Alvarez was born in February 1985 and is currently two years older than her husband. But as they say, “love sees no age,” similarly Wilhoite and his wife Jacqueline didn’t see the age gap between them.

For his special day, Michael Wilhoite took the help of the R. Douglas Custom Clothier, the Men’s clothing store in Sacramento, California, to customize his outfit. As the clothing line shared the couple’s pictures, it described the uniqueness of his wedding suit’s design. In the caption, it wrote, “Former NFL player, Michael Wilhoite sporting a flashy dinner jacket on his wedding day! He topped things off with a custom lining that was filled with his favorite photos. Congratulations Mike & Jacqueline!”

In the pictures, Michael Wilhoite could be seen donning a black and white tuxedo suit. Whereas, Jacqueline also stole the spotlight by wearing a beautiful bridal white gown with net fabric and a veil on her head. The couple even registered their wedding with ZOLA, and now reportedly share a daughter. But besides them, the coach is also blessed with a supportive family.

No doubt Jacqueline is one of the biggest cheerleaders for her partner. But earlier, during Michael Wilhoite’s childhood days, he also had two people with him constantly – his parents. Born on December 7, 1986, in Topeka, Kansas, Wilhoite is the son of Greg Wilhoite and Jan Buckheim. Since the start, the couple has been his constant support when Wilhoite was playing organized football.

In an interview earlier, Michael Wilhoite said, “As I grew and got older, I developed a love/hate relationship with football. Fortunately for me, I had some good people around me in high school that convinced me to stick with it.” And those were his parents. Talking about them, especially his father’s support, the coach expressed, “My parents were always there for me. My dad came to every practice, brought me back and forth, and always preached attitude and mental toughness. He’d say, ‘If you want to get faster, go outside and run. You have to work to get better.’ I took it to heart and did just that. And it worked out great for me.”

Yes! It did!! Michael Wilhoite played for six seasons as a player in the NFL. And later he switched to the coaching job, listening to his inner voice, “After my playing career ended, I figured out pretty quickly maybe this coaching is for me.” He joined the coaching staff and is continuing it for six years now.
