“Me at prom.” Lukas Van Ness’s girlfriend, Frankie Kmet, wrote this while sharing her prom night photo, wearing a white embroidered dress, in April 2019. However, Kmet didn’t reveal who she was going to the party with. Nevertheless, now her man for every date night would be the footballer, Ness.

Although the exact year of their first meeting is unknown, by analyzing their social media profile, it seems Lukas Van Ness and his girlfriend, Frankie Kmet, started dating each other in their college days, i.e. 2022. They both studied at the University of Iowa and have been the biggest supporters of each other & best friends since then.

Now, the interesting part of their life is that Ness was drafted as the defensive end of the Green Bay Packers. However, his love, Kmet, was a Chicago Bears’ fan. Why? It is because Kmet’s brother, Cole Kmet, is the tight end of that team. So, when the two posted a picture of their vacation, Kmet’s Bears’ hat caught everyone’s attention. Consequently, many fans made comments like, “you better get her a new hat!” asking Ness to give Kmet a Green Bay’s hat now, since he is a Packer. Ah! It would have been a difficult situation for Kmet.

Nevertheless, this difference never impacted their relationship, and Frankie Kmet kept on attending Ness’ games in the league, supporting the Packers, as well as cheering up for his brother too. And guess what? A year later, in 2023, Ness did actually give her a Packers’ hat. Excited to see Lukas Van Ness joining the league in Wisconsin, she wrote, “My boy a Packer. Congrats @lukas_vanness you deserve it all, I love you (with a green heart emoji).”

Similarly, the couple keeps on updating their followers about their personal life and updating on Instagram sometimes. Be it trips, vacations, or parties, Ness and Kmet enjoy every moment together, as Lukas Van Ness’ sweetheart once mentioned on her 21st birthday in 2022: “you make me SO happy, 21 never looked better.” Although the couple tries to keep their relationship low-profile, an erratic 2023 celebration caught everyone’s attention!

The former Iowa edge rusher, Lukas Van Ness, was selected 13th overall by the Packers in the 2023 NFL Draft. As other NFL families, his Draft Day too, brought immense joy and celebration within the Ness family and his friends. Even Ness’ girlfriend, Frankie Kmet, was also present at the moment, and the couple were seen excitedly hugging and kissing each other when his name was called out.

Now you can imagine how bombarding the celebration would have been within the family and friends that Ness nearly knocked over the couch in the green room at Union Station in Kansas City. Well, now it seems Kmet has reportedly moved in with her boyfriend to Wisconsin, and has attended many Green Bay games to support her boyfriend.
