Becoming a teen parent pretty much derails your life. You’re not ready to take control of your own life, all of a sudden you’re responsible for another one? To have the willpower and drive to move beyond that and make something of yourself is impressive. That’s just what Laquon Treadwell, proud father since 17, managed to do.

A few years on, better situated in his life, the decision to have another child with a settled partner is all the more meaningful. Here’s more about that partner, Victoria Lynn Treadwell.

Who is Victoria Lynn Treadwell?

Victoria Lynn Treadwell was born Victoria Ramirez in Seattle, Washington, and is proudly bilingual (English and Spanish). She’ll be turning 29 next March, and she’s set herself up pretty well. Victoria went to Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, Washington, but that wasn’t enough for her. She was enterprising enough to attend college courses at the nearby Pierce College concurrently.

This enabled her to graduate High School not just with a diploma, but with an associate’s degree. From there, she dived into a BA in fashion merchandising, design and textiles at Washington State University. For a little added flair, she spent a year at the Florence University of Arts in Italy, graduating with her degree in 2016. That’s the same year we know of her and Treadwell first being seen together. She posted a picture of them together in Chicago at the St. Patrick’s day celebration that year.

In the professional space, she’s been involved in a number of fashion ventures. She first dipped her toes in the field during her year in Florence, interning with FLY: Fashion For You. She then moved on to work with Alba Designs in LA for a year before moving on to Caputa Clothiers in Minneapolis as a wardrobe stylist and designer. Her most recent fashion venture is with her self-founded Vittoria Custom Clothiers, operating out of Dallas, though the associated Instagram page has been dead for a while.

When did they get married? What’s next on the books for them?

Victoria and Laquon Treadwell made the best decision you can make as public figures. They decided to keep their marriage private and personal, with a small ceremony in March of 2019. They didn’t even let anyone know until the 3 month anniversary of the event.

Since then, they put their marriage into fastrack and had a son by July the next year. This is Legend Malik Treadwell, and he’s been absolutely showered with love and affection. On top of the usual presents, by his next birthday, he’ll already be a big brother! The Treadwells are pregnant again, and this time it’s a girl.

But Victoria’s not happy just being a stay at home mother with a successful footballer for a husband. She’s helped found Laquon Treadwell’s Lead The Way Foundation, and is serving as its executive director. The LTW was set up in 2023 and “provide leadership and opportunities for underfunded communities across the cities we are planted in.”

It’s a noble goal, and the two seem devoted to it. They have a turkey drive planned in Indianapolis just this month. Proceeds from their events go to providing aid to marginalized communities.
