Is Chelsea the unsung hero behind Kwesi Adofo-Mensah's rise in the NFL?

The Minnesota Vikings general manager has a blessed and beautiful family! On January 26, 2022, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was hired as the GM of the franchise. He has a storied history of picking star rookies like Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, arguably considered one of the best defenses in the league, having at least 75 tackles and two forced fumbles in 2021.

As Adofo-Mensah prepares for another battle in 2024 with his team, fans are eager to know more about his personal life. And hence, Vikings’ GM Adofo-Mensah’s wife, Chelsea, comes under the spotlight.

Meet Chelsea Keaulani Adofo-Mensah who loves her little family!

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is married to Chelsea Keaulani Adofo-Mensah. According to her Instagram profile, Chelsea describes herself as an Honolulu-born woman raised in Silicon Valley. Kwesi, on the other hand, was born in New Jersey. There are no details regarding how the couple met. However, it is reported that they have been together since at least 2020 when Chelsea posted a photo of herself giving a peck to Kwesi with the caption,Grateful for this oneon social media.

Seeing her Instagram profile, it can be assumed that Kwesi and Chelsea made their relationship official on social media on November 24, 2020. Two years later, on July 13, 2022, the couple informed their social media followers about a major life update:MARRIED.Then again, on June 27, 2023, the couple had a photo shoot in a green background setting at Hualālai in Hawaii. Kwesi and Chelsea wore traditional Hawaiian attire, with Kwesi in a white suit and Chelsea in a bridal gown for their wedding photoshoot.

The couple then entered the parenthood phase, when Chelsea announced her pregnancy via an Instagram post, showing off her baby bump on April 7th last year. They welcomed their baby boy on August 6th and named him–Duke Kalei Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.” This name holds special significance for Kwesi and Chelsea because of their roots.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Chelsea Keaulani Adofo-Mensah welcomed their baby boy on August 6. As any other new mom feels, Chelsea was overwhelmed with joy and emotion when she held her newborn for the first time. Eyes filled with emotion and heart filled with pride and happiness, Chelsea couldn’t wait to share this beautiful moment with everyone.

She posted a picture of their baby’s tiny hand on Instagram, introducing him as “Duke Kalei Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.According to her, His name honors his Hapa and Ghanaian cultures — Duke inspired by the great Duke Kahanamoku, Kalei meaning beloved in Hawaiian, and Kwesi meaning born on Sunday in Ghanaian tradition (just like his Dad).

Moreover, she didn’t miss thanking all the doctors and nurses involved in her delivery process. And for the baby, Chelsea expressed her emotions with a beautiful caption, showing the world how much she is blessed to have him.

She wrote: “We love you son. Being your mom is the biggest love I’ve ever experienced (besides loving your dad).” Such a loving couple as they seriously give out positive vibes throughout their photographs.

Now, Chelsea and Kwesi are embracing every moment of parenthood. They often post adorable family pictures on Instagram, capturing Duke’s milestones and their lovely growing bond.
