But behind every great play is a great partner, and for Julian, that’s his wife, Julia Love. Their story, spanning over a decade, is one of enduring love, mutual support, and shared success.

Their love story kicked off at Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois. Julia, a year ahead, caught Julian’s eye when he was just 16. “I’m so thankful that I decided to ask you to the homecoming dance,” Julian reminisced in a 2020 Instagram post. Little did they know, that dance would lead to a lifetime of shared steps.

When college beckoned, fate played its hand. Julia enrolled at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana. Meanwhile, Julian received an offer from Notre Dame – just a stone’s throw away. “I could throw a football to it. It’s right across one road,” Julian quipped to the News Tribune about the proximity of their schools. This wasn’t just a coincidence; it was a factor in Julian’s decision.

Throughout Julian’s journey from college football star to NFL player, Julia has been his rock. “We’ll be together for 10 years now,” Julian shared. “She’s my person. Some people in the building know her, have heard of her.” This support has been reciprocal, with Julia standing by Julian through every career move. When he was transferred to Seattle, she posted on Instagram, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard 🥹 Leaving a little piece of my heart in NY with our Giants family & taking the rest to Seattle for our next adventure.”

Their bond was officially sealed on June 25, 2022. Reflecting on their first anniversary, Julia wrote on Instagram, “Our 1st of many anniversaries! Hard to believe all of the memories we’ve made since this magical day last year. But Julia’s most exciting venture yet came on December 22, 2023, when she and Julian welcomed their son, Noah. The birth story reads like a nail-biting fourth quarter. Julian stayed by Julia’s side during a long labor, missing an entire week of practice. He flew to join the team in Nashville just hours before a crucial game, armed with nothing but instinct and a quick study session with his coach on the plane. Despite the whirlwind, Julian played every defensive snap in that game. “It was weird for sure in some sense,” he admitted to the Seattle Times. “I kind of just dialed into the instincts I have playing the game.”

Six months into motherhood, Julia shared her joy on Instagram: “6 months of sleepless nights, diaper changes, so many snuggles, bedtime stories, constant laughter, tummy time, silly faces, lots of walks, and endless kisses. 6 months of Noah & I’ve never felt a joy so pure or a love so deep❤️” This new role has only deepened Julian’s admiration for his wife. When he was named to his first Pro Bowl, he was quick to credit Julia: “She’s one of the smartest people I know. Now, she’s a wonderful mother.”
