His wife, Edwina “Wink” Louise Rast, is as exciting as his career. Just like Kramer, Edwina was also a career enthusiast. In 1966, she drew significant attention with her stylish appearance as a ‘Miss Firebird’ at the SESAC-NASCAR event. Known by her nickname, “Winky”, she presented the trophies, laurel wreaths, and various accolades to the winner during her time at many racetracks across America. As Miss Firebird, Edwina also gave the lucky winner a promo victory kiss.

Interestingly, Edwina “Wink” Louise replaced Linda Vaughan as Miss Firebird commencing in late 1965. And then she met with Jerry, who was ready to take a break from Pro football. Additionally, NFL HOFer is also a grandfather to his five grandchildren. And with Edwina, he shares three children: Alicia, Jordan, and Matthew.

Jerry Kramer also reflected on the same. “The obvious part was for her to be the presenter. She picked herself when she decided to campaign for the election. I suggested she not do (the campaign), and she suggested I be quiet. She is related to her mother,” he added further.
