After completing his rookie contract, Jarrett Stidham finally found a new place as a starter in the Denver Broncos. The QB’s career has had its ups and downs but one thing that remained constant in his life is the support of his wife, Kennedy Stidham. Kennedy has been a soccer player for a considerable part of her student life. Time went on, responsibilities caught up with her and now, she’s the mother of two kids. It’s also interesting to note that Jarrett Stidham spent one year at Baylor (2015), where he met the love of his life, Kennedy Stidham (Brown then). She used to play midfielder for the Baylor Bears women’s soccer team, but her academic portfolio is way more impressive than her on-field life playing soccer. She’s been on the Honor Roll of the Big 12’s commissioner for her continual academic prowess throughout the 4 years of her studying Journalism and Public Relations at the University.

But the best day of their life as a couple came on 4/1/22 when Kennedy gave birth to a beautiful girl named Lennon Love Stidham. On that day, Jarrett got a bit emotional and posted a collage of his new family with the captions, “4/1/22. Lennon Love Stidham. The best day of our lives. So proud of @kennedystidham for bringing this little girl into this world. We love you, baby girl. 🖤

But, as mentioned, despite her responsibilities as a mom and an NFL WAG, Kennedy possesses immense talent and has racked quite a recognition since her high school years.

Kennedy Stidham has been prolific since high school

An ankle surgery got the best of her when she started her high school soccer journey, but she didn’t let the woes deter her. Even after the hardships, she was crowned district and area champion as she came out with flying colors, sporting a 65-10-3 record. Before she knew it, it was time to move to Baylor to start an impressive 4-year soccer journey full of ups and downs.

Have an interesting take?

Looking at her Bears profile from a couple of years ago, it’s not hard to figure out that she’s academically gifted. Why? Because she ended up on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll each year of her life as a Bear. In her first year with the women’s soccer team, she got to play just 3 matches with only 21 minutes of playing time. But things got better as her time at Baylor progressed.

The team entrusted her with a bit more in her sophomore year considering she played nearly a full game in the season with 63 minutes of play time. Sadly, there were no goals, just an assist to Aline De Lima in a game against Jackson State. But if you thought that her career as a college athlete came to a plateau, you’d be wrong because things really started to look up in her junior and senior years where she played Sweet 16 games in consecutive seasons.

It should be clear by now that if she continued down the path of playing soccer and kept at it, she could have easily found her way to the NWSL. Instead, she chose to carve her own way and raise a beautiful family with his quarterback husband Jarrett Stidham.
