“Real love,” Jared Goff’s wife, Christen Goff once mentioned for him. It indeed reflected her deep feelings for her NFL husband. Ever since the couple met on a dating app, they have been on each other’s side every step of the way. Clearly, with love and support for each other, Lions QB and his partner are moving forward in their lives.

In week 10, a former Rams’s first overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, Jared made waves for throwing five-plus interceptions in a winning (26-23) game against the Texans. By making his impressive career records with 107 touchdowns for 18,171 yards along with 55 interceptions, he has become a prominent player in the league. From leading the Rams to the Super Bowl in 2019 to earning the Pro Bowl selection twice, he demonstrated his football skills. Clearly, it won’t be possible for him without the strong backing of his wife.

Who is Christen Goff?

Interestingly, just like her husband, Christen Harper, 31, is also a career-oriented personality. Growing up in Valencia, California, she is a model and actress. She gained much attention back in 2021 for her selection as a Sports Illustrated model. After becoming one out of 15 SI Swimsuit Swim model Search finalists, she received this opportunity.

Apart from being grateful for this incredible opportunity, Christen’s acting career is also remarkable. Starting acting at a young age, she touched many hearts with her touching roles in different films and shows. She was first seen in Seven Eleven, a short film in 2004 as a kid. Not only this, she also played an important role in the American drama film,  Auggie and The Obituary of Tunde Johnson in 2019.

Besides this, her acting skills even was hyped when she was spotted with her then-NFL boyfriend Jared in the reality sports documentary television series, Hard Knocks. They both were featured in the Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Detroit Lions episode.

Apart from her professional career, Goff’s wife has also excelled academically. She went to California State University, Northridge for her graduation degree. Interestingly, Christen’s personal life is also quite noteworthy as she was raised by her parents, Michael and Daria Harper in an athletic environment. Moreover, her elder brother, Shane Harper is also involved in ice hockey sports. He played in the American Hockey League.

Clearly, being raised in an athletic environment, her love relation with the NFL QB is not surprising.

When did  Christen Goff and Jared Goff first meet?

After meeting on a dating app, Raya, in 2019, the love blossomed between them. However, at the time of the meeting, she had “just gotten out of a long relationship”. And she was not ready for another relationship. “I was trying to stay single for a year. Then I met him and the rest is history, baby,” she stated earlier.

After 3 years of dating, they both exchanged their rings in Mexico. And, Jared, 30 himself announced this thrilling news through an IG post.  2 years ago in June 2022, NFL QB proposed to Harper, and his affection went viral on the internet. “I’m the luckiest guy in the world because I get to spend forever with you. I love you,” he captioned his post.

And, back in June 2024, they both exchanged their wedding vows. Taking to her official IG handle, Christen revealed about her wedding on July 29. Along with sharing a glimpse of their wedding in their wedding outfits, she gave a perfect caption to her post. “06.22.24 Ojai, California, Forever yours,” she wrote, adding a white heart emoji.

Since then, they have both been embracing each other’s company. Obviously, they both support each other’s careers. She never fails to cheer out for her NFL husband from the sidelines. Her Instagram is full of her supportive posts.

In September she shared a short clip on her IG account. It featured their warm hug and kisses. “Football is back,” she mentioned in her post. Not only this, but she is also the Lions’s biggest fan. Back in January, she expressed her affection for her then then-fiancé team.

When the Lions clinched their first victory in 32 years, she could not hide her emotions. Along with sharing a video, she gushed over with love in the caption. “It was always Detroit,” she captioned the sweet video. Indeed they never fail to express their love for each other.
