After 3 years of dating, the couple finally decided to marry in 2015. Since their marriage, Emily and James have spent a lot of quality time together, which was finally blessed with the birth of Jase Michael Winchester, “Jase Michael Winchester. Born 10.16.17 at 6:59 pm. 9.1 lbs 20.5 inches. Our hearts are full! He is perfect!! The Lord has been so good to us! So proud of you and little Jase, I love you.” per James’ Instagram post. Since then Emily has been a very caring and supportive mother.

Well, apart from being a caring mother, Emily is also a supportive wife. And how? Well, it’s well visible to the world as she came into the life of the Chiefs‘ long snapper, after his inspiration (father), left him.

After his dream to play at Oklahoma came true, Winchester ended up working, “After I earned my degree, I ended up working as a landman in the oil and gas business for a while because it was a good job that paid the bills“. But his father, Mike Winchester, was there to encourage his football career. Soon James found a good coach who helped him build his physique for intense competition, and by 2015, he was almost back in the gridiron. Furthermore, he needed a job to support his family with Emily as his marriage was set for spring 2015, and football became his best choice. But, the long snapper’s comeback was struck by the tragic death of his father. And that’s when Emily’s role as his biggest support got the spotlight.

Emily was there to support James in the 2023 SB, and it’s very much visible from the blissful family moment, where James expressed his love for Emily for being by his side, “To my beautiful wife Emily, my family,”. Emily has also been seen posing with 3 Super Bowl rings in a red bodycon on the deep snapper’s Instagram post, “Huge thank you to the Hunt family“. Although James still misses his father, he seems to be hitched to the right person. A true partner indeed!
