It has been the love season for the Green Bay Packers squad! Besides tight end Luke Musgrave, who proposed to his girlfriend Madi Weisner, and Tucker Kraft, who married his partner Baylee Jandahl, team’s linebacker Isaiah McDuffie also took one step ahead in his personal life.

Isaiah McDuffie’s longtime partner, Nashalie Marie, was a basketball player on the Olmsted Varsity Basketball team during her high school years. However, she left playing in March 2017, and in her farewell note, she wrote, “….goodbye to my favorite sport & my beautiful girls that will conquer the city next year.” Although she may have felt sad about leaving high school at the time, four years later, she was destined to meet the love of her life.

McDuffie and Marie started dating each other in 2021. Although the exact date is unknown, the couple made their relationship public on Halloween Day, i.e. on October 31, 2021. Giving her followers a look into their relationship, Marie posted a couple of pictures on that day, in which McDuffie can be seen dressed up as a wolf, while his partner opted for the young girl’s look of Red Riding Hood. She wrote, “Do you remember that part in red riding hood when the dragon stops by? Happy Halloween.”

Since then, the couple has been updating their followers about their memorable moments, spending time together, and sharing pictures of their trips, vacations, and game days. Showing her immense pride and happiness, Marie also dropped a romantic photo of the two, in which the athlete can be seen kissing on her forehead and posing for a couple of clicks.

That day was special for Marie particularly, as McDuffie celebrated his 23rd birthday in July 2022, with her. Celebrating the day, the Olmsted County native wrote, “Happier with you (with a red burning heart emoji).” Not only that! McDuffie too replied back with “I love you” in her post.

In another lovely photo shared by Isaiah McDuffie’s then-girlfriend on April 9 last year, the athlete can be seen posing with Marie by lifting her into his arms. This lovely snap caught fans’ attention, who titled them “the cutest couple ever.” In addition to that, Nashalie Marie also confessed her deep love once again to her then-boyfriend, saying, “Love you to the beach and back (with a yellow heart).”

And now this year, McDuffie finally chose a day to surprise the love of his life.

What could be a better place than New York to propose to your partner? Well, Packers’ LB, Isaiah McDuffie, chose Niagara Falls NY to be his engagement venue. Sitting on one knee, McDuffie popped up the question of marriage. To which, her beloved partner, Nashalie Marie, of course, said a ‘yes.’ And this lovely proposal can be easily seen on the couple’s post of April 21, this year.

Although it’s reported that the two had been engaged earlier that month, the couple uploaded this picture later at the end of April. Sharing some beautiful snaps of hugging and kissing each other, Marie wrote, “Here’s to love and laughter and happily ever after (with a ring and white heart emoji).” Many congratulated the couple, who kept their engagement day private, indicating that, at that particular moment, all that mattered was them and their love.

Marie, who calls McDuffie her best friend, is now going to get married soon, as their wedding invitation website has already been created. But what’s missing is the date! Hence, excited fans are hoping that the two will tie the knot this year, or at least by the latest next year starting.
