Sometimes, it’s the shared passion that brings you closer to someone. You know how ‘vibes should match.‘ If you’re passionate about something, don’t you get excited when you meet someone who’s just as into it as you? Whether it’s movies, music, books, or sports, we all love connecting with people who share the same interests. Luckily, Texans LB Henry To’oTo’o found someone like that. And when he did, he didn’t waste any time locking things down.
Henry’s father sparked his love for football. Both of his parents, Rima and Lese, are football lovers. His dad wanted his children to pursue football as a career. Fast forward a few years, and Henry was playing football for the University of Tennessee in his freshman year in 2020. Then, in 2021, for some reason, he transferred to the University of Alabama, where he continued to play as a linebacker. Henry was then picked up by the Houston Texans in the 2023 draft. And the same year, he said ‘I do‘ to his girlfriend, Cheyenne. Adorable!

You could say athletics brought Cheyenne and Henry together. Like her husband, Mrs. Henry also has a deep love and passion for sports and was involved in athletics during high school. Cheyenne played volleyball for the Kahuku Red Raiders at Kahuku High School. The couple hasn’t shared how they met each other. But from what they post on Instagram, it seems like they’ve known each other for quite a while, possibly since high school.
“Best thing to come out of year 23 is hands down @h_tootoo11xi 🥹 so many memories with you and forever more to go. thank you for making every day special. I love you❤️ here’s to 24”, wrote the former volleyball star in an Instagram post shared by her. Henry proposed to Cheyenne in May 2023. The couple tied the knot three months later, on August 9, just before he began his NFL duties with the Texans.

A bit late, but congrats to them!
Henry To’oTo’o and his wife Cheyenne Te’o share the same descent
The Texans LB and his wife, Cheyenne Te’o come from the same Samoan descent. Henry grew up in Sacramento, California, but not much is known about where Cheyenne is from. However, because of the trouble in Sacramento, his family decided to move to Utah. So, it’s pretty likely that’s where he met the love of his life. The couple often share their pictures on Instagram.

Cheyenne’s always there at every Texans game, cheering on her husband. She’s also made friends with the other teammates’ partners. The girls hang out together in the stands, having a blast while watching their guys play. “First NFL Career Interception🥹Let’s keep doing our thing. putting our head down and continuing to work!! I’m so proud of you❤️”, captioned Cheyenne, sharing a video on her Instagram. She posted the video after he scored his first interception against the Detroit Lions in Week 10.
In the video, Henry To’oTo’o calls her from the stands while walking with the ball in his hands. That’s cute! Although the Texans lost that game by three points (23-26), Cheyenne didn’t hold back from sharing her husband’s first achievement in the NFL. The Texans are leading their division with a 7-4 record and will next play against the Titans. Hopefully, we’ll catch a glimpse of Cheyenne from the stands.
