The Seattle Seahawks’s QB Geno Smith is known for his skill and perseverance. Behind his successful career, his wife is a strong support system. Geno met her wife Hayley Eastham when both were attending the same university. Seattle’s QB was the West Virginia University’s QB.

He earned many accolades, like First-team All-Big East in 2011 and Second-team All-Big East in 2010. These achievements helped him get drafted. He was the 39th overall pick by the New York Jets in the 2013 NFL draft. Eastham, on the other hand, was studying laws. She earned top internship placements. When their relationship grew stronger they took their relationship one step forward by getting married on July 20, 2015. It was during the NFL off-season, therefore; the period was crucial for Smith as he was establishing himself in the league.

Hayley’s career is also quite interesting. She completed her final year at the university and started working at the Juvenile Rights Advocacy Project in a summer law clerk’s position. She was also a business analyst and judicial intern. At present, she is a patent litigation associate at Caldwell Cassady and Curry PC.

Apart from having a successful career, they have a sweet family. The couple is raising Geno’s son Seven Santana Smith who is from a previous relationship. Eastham has embraced this role wholeheartedly. The couple does not have children together yet, but they may decide to plan in the future.

Eastham frequently attends Seahawks games to cheer on and support her husband. Geno is enthusiastic about the team’s revamped offense. This summer, the Seattle Seahawks are set to unveil a new offensive strategy under coordinator Ryan Grubb.

Geno Smith anticipates an explosive Seahawks offense

In an interview on The Jim Rome Show, Smith said, “In the past two weeks, I’ve seen plays that I have never seen before, and that’s something to say for a 12-year veteran.” Smith also commended Grubb’s talent for integrating multiple offensive weapons, as demonstrated during his tenure at the University of Washington. There, Grubb effectively utilized players like Rome Odunze, Ja’Lynn Polk, and Jalen McMillan, who were all selected in the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Smith is confident this will result in a dynamic and high-powered offense for the Seahawks. “Schematically, it’s going to be great. It’s really going to be good and I think it’s going to help all the players. We’re all going to fit into the (scheme),” he said. With Hayley’s unwavering support and the new offensive strategy, the Seahawks and their fans can anticipate an exciting and dynamic season ahead.
