The former legendary QB, Eli Manning‘s successful career trajectory is incomplete without mentioning his wife! The youngest son of QB Archie Manning, Eli took after him as he played football at Ole Miss, gaining multiple honors. And, in 2004, he was drafted first overall by the Chargers, but soon transitioned to the Giants becoming an icon.

Eli Manning’s wife, Abby McGrew Manning, never fails to turn heads, whether for her charming personality, or her intellectual caliber. Born on January 1, 1984, in Nashville, Tennessee, she works as a philanthropist, and simultaneously she is also an advocate for pediatric healthcare. Born to Tom McGrew, an American writer, she completed her education from the University of Mississippi, in the domain of family and consumer sciences.

Abby, a devoted wife, loved to accompany her husband Eli to the stands, across his 16-season career with the New York Giants. Moreover, she likes to maintain a low profile, focusing on her family.

Meeting each other way back in the spring of 2002 at the University of Mississippi, Eli and Abby have been inseparable since then. During their time at Ole Miss, their bond became more deep, and taking a step forward, Eli proposed to Abby in March 2007 in Hoboken, New Jersey. As he proposed with an Adler’s diamond ring, Abby breathlessly said, “Yes!”

Later, the couple tied the knot on April 19, 2008, at the One & Only Palmilla resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. With 60 guests, the wedding was an intimate affair. Eli and Abby share four children: Ava Frances Manning, Lucy Thomas Manning, Caroline Olivia Manning, and their youngest son, Charles “Charlie” Elisha Manning.

And I guess,m having kids of their own, eventually led to the couple helping other parents.

Abby McGrew and Eli Manning: College lovebirds to advocates of pediatric healthcare

Eli deeply cherishes fatherhood, remarking, “The greatest thing about being a dad is that you never realize you can love something immediately in your life,” as stated in The KNOT’s article from December 2023. The Mannings have also involved their children in various activities, as Ava participates in cheerleading. Lucy and Ava also play lacrosse, while Caroline plays hockey. On the other hand, Charlie spends time with his dad practicing, “knee football.”

Together with Eli, Abby has contributed significantly to the domain of philanthropy. In 2010, donating $1 million to the Ole Miss Opportunity scholarship fund, they sought to help those kids who didn’t have secure access to education. The Mannings have also contributed to children’s healthcare, raising $2.5 million to lay the foundation of Eli Manning Children’s Clinics at Children’s of Mississippi.
