“Family over everything,”  Desmond Ridder‘s wife, Claire Cornett once remarked. It reflects her deep regard and love for her NFL hubby. She has been his constant support throughout his life journey. With the strong backing of his loving wifey, the former Atlanta Falcons QB has continued to add accolades to his NFL success trajectory.

Desmond, 25, has been making waves for his latest signing with the Las Vegas Raiders. Allegedly, amid Aidan O’Connell’s injury, the Raiders added him as the new QB to the active roster. Clearly, after being drafted by the Falcons as a 3rd-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati player rocked in his last 2 seasons. He posted an impressive 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions for 3,544 yards for the Falcons. And, interestingly, his NFL journey started in the same year in 2022, when he started a new chapter of his life with his college sweetheart, Claire Cornett.  Fans are equally interested in knowing about her.

Who is Claire Cornett?

Like her NFL husband, Claire Cornett is seemingly also a career-focused figure. The daughter of Greg and Anita Martin Cornett is involved in sales work. She presently works at Max Retail, a digital marketplace that helps local businesses and brands in selling their merchandise.

Beyond her professional career, her academic background is also impressive. She went to Assumption High School in 2017 and continued ahead to pursue her higher education. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a political science degree. She also holds a pre-law degree.

Interestingly, similar to her NFL partner, Cornett has Kentucky roots. Additionally, she attended the same college, the University of Cincinnati that Ridder attended.  During their college days, while the younger QB was emerging as a star QB, she was attending pre-law classes.

However, there is very limited information available about Cornett’s personal background. Seemingly,  Raiders newest QB’s wife prefers to avoid the spotlight, keeping most of her life private. But, she occasionally shares glimpses of her personal life updates on social media.

Probably, the love between the duo bloomed from here. However, they have not revealed the beginning of their love story. So, it is still not clear when they exactly began dating.

How long have Desmond Ridder and  Claire been together?

Allegedly, since 2016, they have been on each other’s side. Claire Cornett’s love relationship with the NFL player was hyped when she shouted out loud for him in Cincinnati. During that time, Cornett impressively led Cincinnati to the NCAA Football Playoff. And, it became the becoming the first Group of Five team to do it. Thus, Claire Cornett was also impressed by Ridder’s splendid performance.

Allegedly, after dating for 2 years Ridder and Cornett exchanged their rings in 2018.  Around 4 years later, they decide to become husband and wife. On July 21, 2022,  the NFL couple tied the knot. Interestingly, at the time of their wedding, they were already the parents of their first daughter, Leighton Elizabeth. They welcomed her in April 2021 before their marriage.

But, now they share 2 kids together, as they welcomed their second kid in February 2024. Taking to her official Instagram account, Desmond Ridder’s wifey made the announcement of their 2 baby’s name on 29 March 2024. Along with sharing the beautiful family picture, she gave a lovely caption to it. “Khylan Jett • 2/20/2024 • our hearts are overflowing with the addition of our sweet baby boy,” she mentioned in her post.

Not only this, their Instagram account is filled with romantic pictures. They both often share a beautiful sneak peek of their personal life with their kids. Besides this, she is often seen cheering on Desmond at his games with her kids, to support him through and through!
