For over 10 years, it’s been continuing just like before! It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the New England Patriots defensive coordinator shares a strong and lasting bond with his wife. Despite being “far from perfect,” as DeMarcus Covington’s wife puts it, the couple continues to stand by each other through their ups and downs.
DeMarcus Covington and his wife, Natasha Covington, have been married since 2015, but their love story began years earlier. While the exact details of their first meeting remain private, Natasha’s Instagram profile reveals that the couple’s first post together dates back to 2012. In that April’s post, Natasha shared a picture of kissing her love on the cheeks, with the caption, “On the way to church with the boo. Happy Easter!” And now, it has been around over 12 years of their togetherness.
In addition to being DeMarcus Covington’s wife, Natasha Covington is a professional home décor specialist. On her Instagram account, she mentions owning Covington Comforts, a business that provides interior design and consulting services tailored to clients’ comfort and customization preferences. Natasha is also a beauty-obsessed cosmetologist and the mother of two children, Cassius and Cayman, whom she shares with DeMarcus.

Despite being a working momma, Natasha never failed to support her husband on his game days. And this is evident from her social media posts where she uploaded a couple of pictures of the entire family, writing on behalf of her children: “See you later Daddy, football is calling,” or even “Our favorite part of August is being able to see Daddy at practice.” Apart from this, by nature, DeMarcus Covington’s wife is outgoing and fun-loving, on the other hand, the coach prefers to be in a serious and silent mode of the time. And that’s the reason why, Natasha once wrote, “Completely opposite but it works for us,” after sharing her teasing Covington’s picture.
After many years of fun, date nights, love, and outing adventures, the couple decided to take one step ahead in their relationship. And hence, they announced their wedding date with a unique football idea.
DeMarcus Covington and his wife Natasha Covington tied the knot!
What could be a more unique way to announce a wedding than through football? For DeMarcus Covington and his wife Natasha, their love for the sport became the theme. Before officially revealing the news, Natasha teased it by sharing a picture of herself in a football helmet and holding a football. In the July 30, 2014, photo, the coach can be seen giving her an intense look, as if he’s offering football instructions. Sharing the same, Natasha wrote, “#SneakPeek #TaylorMade4Covington.”
Then again, on January 14, 2015, the couple came back with the proper wedding announcement, wherein Natasha can be seen showing off the football, which has “Save the Date 07-04-15 #TaylorMade4Covington” printed on it. And in the photo, DeMarcus pointed towards the football, as if he wanted to draw his fans’ attention to their wedding announcement. Natasha also added a caption, saying, “One of my faves.” Then before their wedding, the then-bride-to-be celebrated her spinster parties with her girlfriends many times. And then, finally, that day came on July 4, when the two got married in 2015.

Although Mrs. Covington didn’t share any wedding images at that time, she first gave a glimpse of her big day with her hubby to her followers on their first anniversary. In the romantic and cozy post, Natasha could be seen wearing a white bride gown, hugging DeMarcus Covington, who chose a black suit for the day. Sharing this beautiful post, Natasha wrote, “Happy Anniversary to Us! We have flaws, imperfections and struggles but there is no one I’d rather be in the trenches with besides this guy.”
