Dave Ziegler’s high-stakes relationship is quite interesting. Ziegler, an American football executive, has transitioned several times throughout his career. From being a scout to a director, and now to a general manager. Recently, he made waves by joining the New Orleans Saints as an advisor during the 2024 NFL Draft. During his previous two seasons with the Raiders, Ziegler faced numerous challenges.

The Raiders fired him as the GM in October 2023, after the team faced their second consecutive defeat with a 26-14 loss to Detroit. It was not really a good start, bringing the team’s record to 3-5 in the 2023 season. However, he later joined the Saints. Thanks to his wife Carissa Ziegler, who has consistently supported him since the couple exchanged their wedding vows on October 8, 2012.

The former Patriots director of pro personnel and his wife have been delightfully embracing their married life for nearly 12 years. Despite this, the NFL couple has never disclosed their relationship publicly, keeping their social media accounts private. Seemingly, the Zieglers prefer to stay away from the media and limelight.

She uploaded her IG profile picture with Dave Ziegler and mentioned in her bio, “Write the jokes for Dave Ziegler. I ❤️ my family, 🏈, 🍾 & 🌮,” acknowledging that her account is now dedicated to her kids.

Ex-Raiders GM and Carissa have been parenting their three adorable children. Indeed, his daughter Georgina and two sons Camden and Asher are his biggest supporters.

Although it is still unclear how the couple met and when they started dating, it is reported that they got hitched in July 2012. Since then, they have been enjoying each other’s company. Dave Ziegler has since then, always been on her side while taking up various job positions with the team.

Dave Ziegler’s NFL Career 

Dave Ziegler was in the Patriots’ scouting department and served in multiple roles while working with the team for nearly nine years. During his tenure with the Patriots, he became a three-time Super Bowl champion, contributing to the team as an assistant director of pro scouting, and the director of player personnel.

For a long-term and stable career, he ultimately realized that he could seek opportunities for playing and coaching as he grabbed McDaniels’ offer to become a scouting assistant for Broncos, in 2010. Despite the ups and downs, his family has been his pillar of support to battle it all.
