On September 8th, Bengals guard Cordell Volson shared a heartwarming video of his wedding day on Instagram captioning it “7•13•24.” It sparked curiosity among fans and well, the caption was related to his wife, Gracee Buri. But who is she?

Cordell is married to his high school sweetheart Gracee Buri, daughter of Rodney and Peggy Buri. She grew up in North Dakota and excelled in both volleyball and basketball during her high school years. And has played with the Anamoose Varsity Basketball team as the captain. Their love for sports is one of the things that has held them together over the years.

This long-lasting relationship, which began when they were teenagers, developed into a lifetime bond after Cordell proposed to Gracee in June 2023. He shared the moment on IG, captioning, “Spending the rest of my life exactly where I wanna be…right next to you🤍.” And why won’t he? Gracee has been a great support to him since high school.

And ever since Cordell was drafted by the Bengals in 2022, she has been cheering for him. Gracee also keeps her followers updated by sharing life moments. And that includes the moments she spends cheering for her husband on the field. “A year of lots of big moments, lots of football, lots of fun,” she captioned one such post expressing how much she loves supporting her better half.

But sports is not the only thing that they bond upon, the couple is known for giving back to the community and contributing to a greater cause..

What is Gracee and Cordell Volson’s Foundation?

Beyond their personal and professional accomplishments, Cordell and Gracee have taken their shared passion for supporting others and made it a reality. The couple founded the Small Towns Foundation, a charity aimed at providing resources and opportunities for young people in rural areas to pursue their dreams.

The mission of Small Towns Big Dreams is close to their hearts. Growing up in North Dakota, both Cordell and Gracee understand the challenges that come with living in small towns and are determined to make a difference.

Through their foundation, the couple hopes to inspire and uplift the next generation of young athletes, leaders, and dreamers from rural communities, just as they were once inspired by others before them.
