Clark Hunt and Tavia Shackles Hunt have been together for a long haul and their relationship is older than most of us! The couple tied the knot in 1993 and have been each other’s rock since then. They share a small world of three children: Gracie, Ava, and Knobel. The family keeps going on vacations and Tavia loves sharing those lovely vacay photos on her Instagram!

And as football is in their genes, the Hunt family is full of NFL fans. And here is the real kicker: Tavia’s journey with the Chiefs started even before marrying Clark. Growing up in the heart of Chiefs country, she was active in beauty pageants.

Shackles proudly represented Missouri as Miss Missouri Teen USA and later Miss Kansas USA, traveling across the region. She says, “I was Miss Missouri Teen USA and toured the entire state of Missouri. Then, I was Miss Kansas USA and visited, I think, every small town in Kansas during the course of that year.” While she was busy writing her own story, destiny had its own plans quietly unfolding in the background. In 1991, Tavia interned with the Kansas City Chiefs PR department while studying in college.

And guess what? Just like a Hollywood movie, Mr. and Mrs. Hunt met at a formal lunch and felt an instant connection. She says, “At the end of that event, this nice guy came up named Clark and started talking to me, and we had a great conversation and had so much in common, we learned. She added that Hunt even asked her for dinner and the rest is history. Despite being the owner’s son, Tavia didn’t know who the future chairman was. Isn’t it just like the perfect movie plot?

Well, after dating for two years, the couple walked down the aisle, and have been weathering the storm since then. From philanthropic activities and games to weddings and vacations, the couple is often spotted together! But apart from supporting her husband, what does she do for a living?

Tavia Hunt is the director of the Chiefs Women’s Organization. The initiative involves the WAGs of the players in charity and giving back to their local communities. Apart from leading the charge, she supports local families in need, with a special focus on children, fighting hunger, and promoting community welfare.

On top of that, the wifey is an active part in events that bring the players and staff’s WAGs together, creating a support and strong connection. And that’s not all! She loves working for the cheerleading squad as well!

From helping design their outfits to judging new candidates, Mrs. Hunt has taken the department to make the best choices! And while making a difference in society, she ensures to give her kids the best and teach them love and kindness.

Gracie, Ava, and Knobel also participate in the Chiefs’ philanthropic activities to give back to society. Isn’t it just amazing to see someone as humble as Shackles? So, what keeps the former Miss Kansas USA grounded?

Tavia learned service at a very young age. While her pageant success even saw her finishing as the second runner-up in the 1993 Miss USA competition, it also made her realize the world’s pain.
