Chris Tabor is seeing a drastic change in his NFL stint. The Carolina Panthers special teams coordinator has now taken the special teams helm in Buffalo Bills. The Highmark squad had a great 2024 season, but they had some notable breakdowns in the kicking units, which was a continuous issue for the team – missing a short 24-yard field goal or a long 50-yard mark in the games, and more. Hence, coach Sean McDermott decided to fire Matthew Smiley and welcome Tabor at home.

It seems easy for Chris Tabor to relocate, having switched teams three times, including the Panthers. But leaving a city after three years surely leaves a bittersweet feeling. Despite all the challenges to settle in again, he is thankful that his wife and the rest of the family are with him forever.

In addition, Chris Tabor called himself a “bus driver” of his daughters. He expressed, “I’m very active with my two daughters. They’re heavily active in soccer and basketball so every night, they have practices and essentially I’m the bus driver, I take them wherever they can go. If they’re playing, I want to watch them play. Because that’s important to me.”

He revealed that his greatest joy comes from watching his daughters play sports and simply being a supportive fan. Chris Tabor also emphasized that family time is his top priority when he’s not working.
