Hailing from a family that nurtured two generations of coaches, Rams DC Chris Shula always knew his destination. Like his dad, Dave Shula had coaching stints in the Bengals, Dolphins, and Cowboys. Then, his grandfather, Don, had an even larger legacy in the NFL. He remains a Pro Football Hall of Famer on the back of 33 years as a head coach. So, the moment Chris graduated from college, he knew where he was heading next, “I think I always knew. Right when I got out of college….that I was going to get into coaching.”

And boy! That journey is one to remember. From witnessing the Shula Bowl, the league’s first father-son head coach matchup, at the age of 8, to winning a Super Bowl in 2021. Shula was never alone in his journey as an NFL head coach. His longtime girlfriend, Jennifer, who is now a mother, was always beside him. Jennifer isn’t like other WAGs around the league who like to remain in the public eye. Instead, she lives a quiet life with their daughter, Avery. But Avery isn’t the only child the couple share in their closely knitted family.

They also have a son, whose name remains unknown. There isn’t much information about Jennifer’s personal life, even though her Facebook profile remains public. She is a mother and a wife who likes to stay at home and take care of her kids. Jennifer doesn’t like to stay in the public eye, with very few appearances in the stadium. Now, even though she must have visited a few times, considering Sula has spent his last eight years in LA. The mother of two hasn’t shared a lot of pics from her outings.

When did Jennifer & Chris Shula get married?

Let’s take a trip back to the Rams’ Super Bowl success in 2021—when Shula’s defensive unit helped LA win Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals. And just before the start of that winning season in May, Chris and Jennifer exchanged their vows in a private wedding. As for Jennifer, she was already excited to wear her white gown when Shula’s then-fiancé shared a photo of them together on Facebook, “So excited for May 2021.” Now, Jennifer’s excitement about her marriage didn’t end there. She soon shared a couple of more photos from their honeymoon trip to Mykonos, Greece.
