She is the daughter of dad Albert and mom Linda Dernovsek – the couple who share four more kids (two sisters and two brothers). Before being the wife of the coach, Lucy was a college basketball player at Michigan Technological University.

Yes! Before stepping into the world of business, she dominated the basketball court. Standing tall at 5’11”, Bobby Slowik’s wife played as a guard for Lake Holcombe High School under Coach Joy Webster. Although she graduated in 2007 from the same school, her talent carried her to Michigan Tech, where she made a name for herself.

Lucy’s performance was quite remarkable as she averaged 11.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, leading the GLIAC in defensive rebounding. She was a playmaker, racking up 111 assists and 41 steals.
