Amy, the daughter of Titans’ founder Bud Adams, has faced several challenges in her marriage. Reportedly, her first two marriages did not work due to various personal reasons. She later married her current and third husband, Bill Hunt, who worked as a commercial airline pilot. Due to his demanding job, the couple has lived in different places, including Tennessee, Waller, Nashville, and Texas.

But before marrying Hunt, Amy had been in a good relationship with her second husband, Tim Strunk, a cattle breeder. Unfortunately, she lost Tim in a car accident in 1997, which was likely a very difficult time in her life.

Allegedly, after an extended period of emotional turmoil following her brother’s suicide, she parted ways with her first husband in 1990. Amy, who is one of the nine female owners in the league, has three grown children from her first marriage. Reportedly, her children—Blanche Strunk, Tommy Thompson, and Tracy Thompson—are also sports enthusiasts, just like her.

Balancing the responsibilities of raising her children while managing her professional career was not easy for Amy. Despite these challenges, she has been dedicated to her role as the Titans’ controlling owner, embracing both her personal and professional lives. Her personal setbacks have not hindered her ability to continue building her father’s legacy in the NFL.

Amy and her sister Susie received a one-third share of the Titans and a third of KSA Industries. The remaining stakes were divided into three 11% shares among Bud’s wife and his late son, Kenneth Adams III. Initially, the family designated her sister, Susie Adams Smith, as the controlling owner of the Titans. At the time, Susie’s husband, Tommy Smith, served as the team president.

However, in 2015, the Adams family restructured the ownership, positioning Amy as the majority owner. They also brought back Steve Underwood, the former Titans CEO, from retirement to serve as team president, while pushing the Smiths aside. Despite this, Susie continues to maintain her one-third ownership of the franchise.
