Legal troubles haven’t ended yet! Amidst the offseason draft and trade picks’ buzz, the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is facing his struggles.
Last year, one of the wealthiest NFL owners, Jones, found himself tied up in legal knots after some severe allegations surrounding a paternity test. However, he received a temporary relief then. This originates from a defamation lawsuit filed by Alexandra Davis, who claimed Jones as her alleged biological father. After several months, a recent development has surfaced following a court order.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reportedly been ordered by a Dallas County judge, Sandra Jackson, to undergo a paternity test on Wednesday in a Texas district court. This order is in response to a lawsuit filed against him in 2022. The plaintiff, Alexandra Davis, allegedly claimed that Jones is her biological father, reportedly stemming from a relationship between Jones and her mother, Cynthia Davis, in the mid-1990s.
Court documents reportedly reveal that a settlement was reached between Jones and Cynthia, where Jones agreed to provide financial support ($375,000) in exchange for the agreement not to disclose his paternity publicly. Despite dropping the initial lawsuit, Alexandra, through her attorney Jay Gray, expressed her intention to “proceed with parentage and DNA testing” to confirm Jerry Jones as her father.
Additionally, in October last year, she filed a defamation lawsuit against the Dallas owner, allegedly accusing him and his two associates of intentionally portraying her as an “extortionist.”
Meanwhile, Jones has planned to challenge the constitutionality of the state law mandating the paternity test.
The legal dispute originated when Davis, now 27, sought to nullify a 1998 agreement between her mother and Jones.
Who is Alexandra Davis’ mother, Cynthia Davis?
The information about Jerry Jones’ alleged mistress, Cynthia Davis, is limited, but she is likely aged around 60. Some reports suggest that the two met while she was working for American Airlines. Some may recognize Alexandra and her mother, Cynthia Davis, from the reality show Big Rich Texas, which focused on wealthy mothers and their daughters.

During the show, it was mentioned that Alexandra was living off a trust fund, which now reportedly appears to be under Jones. Meanwhile, Alexandra has not disclosed the reasons for suing her alleged biological father or how she discovered his identity. The details of this mystery remain undisclosed.
Nevertheless, as the case has been brought before the public, it has captured widespread attention. Now, followers are awaiting Jerry Jones’ next move.
