Zach Charbonnet was raised in a blended household. On January 8, 2001, he was born to Seda Hall and Mark Charbonnet. Seda has French, Chinese, and Cambodian ancestry. She went from France to the United States and settled there after living in Paris till the age of sixteen. Mark, Charbonnet’s father, is of African American descent and of Louisiana Creole heritage.
Seda Hall, Zach’s mother, and Ben Hall, his stepfather, who joined the family when Zach was just 2 years old, raised Zach. Charbonnet refers to his stepfather as “pops” since he feels negative about the term “step.” In the 1990s, he was an offensive tackle at Louisville.
Zach and her other children learned manners and respect from Seda Hall. Because of how cruel football is, she didn’t want him to play it when he was younger, but after he got to the seventh grade, she gave it a try.
Charbonnet’s high school education at Westlake Village, California’s Oaks Christian School provided the foundation for his success in the future. The supportive atmosphere at the school made a big difference in his athletic growth.
A significant turning point in Charbonnet’s career occurred when the Seattle Seahawks selected him with the 52nd overall choice in the 2023 NFL Draft, signaling his entry into the professional ranks. However, his mother has a great influence on his life.
