Seemingly, the former Hawkeyes player’s dad has a great influence on his life. Allegedly. Tyrone Sr. started training Tyrone Jr. when he was just 3 years old. Thus, he grew up with a competitiveness with his three brothers, which might have paved his path to the NFL.

And, the most impressive thing is that he traversed to multiple games, practices, and competitions around the country as a young kid to sharpen his abilities. His dad earlier reflected on his son’s multi-sports skills. “You’re going from AAU basketball and then football. It’s just, you know, you don’t have that break,” his dad remarked.

“When [Tyrone Jr.] was little, we were all into just, ‘Come on, let’s go. We got to go here, and we got to go.’ We wanted to be the best. So, in the way we were doing it, you have to play. You can’t just sit out and think you’re going to be the best sitting out,” he added further. It indeed showcases how his dad’s developed versatility into him.

Interestingly, Tyrone Tracy’s mostly family vacations were focused on sports. Allegedly, his dad coached him and his brother, Kenny, in AAU basketball. The impressive part of their vacation is that they used the extravagant national tournaments as vacations. Tyrone’s family traveled to Louisville, New York, Maryland, and Texas while his dad coached them on every vacation.

Earlier during in candid chat, Tyrone’s brother, Javon, a Decatur Central player, also revealed their sports-oriented holiday trips. “I kid you not. It was like every week, every weekend we would go to a different state,” he continued. “We’ve probably been to about 35 states that were just straight sports.” And, receiving such exposure during his childhood, Tyrone indeed paved his way towards a bright future, making everyone proud of him.
