Jaguars ‘ QB Trevor Lawrence has never backed down, even during adversities! And, he routes his source of strength to his parents. Even in the current season, while he has sustained an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing left shoulder in Week 9, he is adamant about playing against Texans in Week 13. And this is to break the Jaguars’ four-game losing streak for which they need Trevor.

From his first overall selection in 2021 by the Jaguars to earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2023,  Trevor has covered it all. And, this also includes extraordinary achievements like being the first Jaguars QB ever who have secured more than completions in three consecutive seasons. And this has indeed made his parents, Jeremy and Amanda Lawrence, quite proud of him.

Who are Jeremy and Amanda Lawrence?

For Trevor, he finds his roots of athleticism in his family. Hailing from Cartersville, Georgia, it is dad who is a former high school athlete, who has always motivated Trevor to dream big. Jeremy has an impressive physical stature, as he stands tall at 6’7”. Professionally, he works as a manager at a steel company in Georgia.

Even his mom, Amanda Lawrence, has been Trevor’s constant source of guidance. She is a former high school athlete and a nurse practitioner. She specializes in ear, nose, and throat care, with an experience that runs for more than a decade. Jeremy and Amanda are parents to three children altogether, i.e., Chase, Trevor, and Olivia.

Moreover, Amanda has maintained an active social media profile, @amandalawrence1994, wherein she constantly shares updates on her life. On the occasion of father’s Day last year, she took to appreciating her husband Jeremy, for being a great dad, adding, “Jeremy is a great dad! He is always working hard for our family!”

Moreover, on special occasions of Jaguar’s victory, she never fails to post updates, supporting her son Trevor. Amanda is quite religious by nature, and a strong believer in Christ. And, as she turned 50 this year on November 6, she took to thanking her family for organizing a wonderful dinner party, as she reflected on her life, adding, “As time moves on I want to always be a glass-full person!”

How have Trevor Lawrence’s parents provided him with the support for his NFL Career?

If Trevor has established himself as a successful NFL QB, the credit also goes to his parents. Jeremy played an active role in developing his football skills as he hired a QB trainer back in time when Trevor was in eighth grade. The very next year, Clemson recruiters had started attending his games.

Attending the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville for over 16 years, Trevor’s parents have always made sure that he never loses faith. Amanda has reaffirmed his faith, adding, “You’ve got to still know that you’re still worthy… and you’re a child of God.” And, Jeremy has suggested to him how to deal with the stress of such high-stakes games, commenting, “At some point when the game’s taken more from you than it’s giving to you, you need to step away.”

When Trevor signed the $275 million extension with the Jaguars in June 2024, Amanda was very proud of him. “Your dad and I are so very proud of you. We are so very proud of the man that you’ve become,” she remarked. Trevor has always been mindful of their sacrifices that has “help [ed] me become who I am and who I’m going to continue to be… it wasn’t in vain.” And, truly, none of it has been in vain, as he continues to make his parents proud with his streak of success.
