Olivia Culpo was born on 8 May 1992 to Peter Culpo and Susan Curran, in Rhode Island, United States. She is the middle child of five siblings. Culpo has an older brother named Pete & older sister named Aurora, as well as, a younger brother & sister named Gus, and Sophia, respectively. She belongs to a tight-knit family, who support each other at all moments of life.

Culpo’s dad, Peter, is a businessman by profession and is known to be the owner of multiple different restaurants in Boston. On the opposite end of the spectrum is her mom, Susan, who is an ardent music lover. Even though the exact timeline of her music career remains unknown, Susan is a well-known name in the setting, who has played viola with groups like the Boston Symphony and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra.

In an interview last year with Elle Magazine, the fiance of the RB mentioned that her father Peter is also her business partner and someone she enjoys spending time with, particularly while cooking.

Yet, despite their close bond, Olivia often mentions how her parents initially didn’t completely understand her entrance into beauty pageants and wanted her not to compete in the same. The situation propelled her to a very drastic step that she revealed about 7 years back. Five years after winning the Miss Universe title, the 32-year-old talked to Ocean Drive magazine in 2017. She reminisced about her first pageant from college days when she was just 18 and addressed how she had to go to an agency “and basically beg them to take her.”

She continued, “They told me I needed to give them a cheque for $30, and I had no money, so I had to steal a check from my parents. My agency told me not to do the pageant; they thought it was tacky. My parents felt the same way. They thought it was vain.” Moreover, she revealed her parents were not into her applying makeup as her mom never wore any.

Culpo further added, “So growing up in that environment didn’t exactly promote any sort of putting on makeup or wearing revealing clothes, showing off your features and your beauty. It wasn’t until I branched out of my home life that I realized I could model for a living.” However, now that she has risen to fame in her modeling career and her parents have witnessed her passion for the same, especially after the 2012 Miss Universe title win, Peter and Susan have been constantly supporting Olivia.

Olivia Culpo is preparing for her big day! On June 24, Culpo posted a video and some snaps on her official Instagram account showing herself and her fiancé, Christian McCaffrey, heading to their wedding teaser location. In the shared video, Olivia wore a white top and wide pants, accompanying it with a large YSL tote bag. She also held her dog by her side as McCaffrey followed her carrying duffle bags.

As soon as Olivia saw the venue, she was surprised and delighted to see the plane decorated with “Mr. & Mrs.” letters and balloons. In other shared pictures, they took the viewers on a tour inside the decorated plane. In one of the photos, the couple could be kissing each other as well. The model shared the pictures and videos with the caption: “Let it begin,” along with a bride, white heart, and teary-eyed face emojis.
