Norv Turner is a proud dad! NFL veteran coach is making waves to join his son’s team Raiders. He recently took charge as Raiders’ senior advisor and offensive consultant. And, interestingly, his NFL son, Scott Michael Turner, also served as the team’s passing game coordinator with the Raiders.

Norv, 72, and his wife Nancy Turner are the parents to two proud kids. Like Scott, their daughter, Stephanie Turner, is also renowned in the American film industry. No one is as proud as the former Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator dad, of his son and daughter’s notable achievements.

Who is Norv Turner’s son Scott Turner?

Just like his dad, Scott Turner has also become a distinguished name in the NFL coaching world. Recently, the Raiders appointed him as interim offensive coordinator. He also has 12 years of coaching experience in the NFL. Since Scott started his coaching career in 2011 with the Carolina Panthers, he worked with multiple teams.

Interestingly, after serving as the offensive quality control coach with the Panthers, he got the opportunity to work under his dad for the Browns. He joined as the Browns’ wide receivers coach while his dad was serving as the offensive coordinator in 2013.

And, Scott continued to follow his father’s path in the NFL. A year later, the dynamic father-son duo joined the Vikings. In 2014, Scott served as the quarterback coach under his former NFL HC dad’s guidance.

Impressively, not only as an assistant coach Scott solidified his status, but his period as an offensive coordinator is also notable. He worked for the Washington Football Team / Commanders for nearly around 2 years. Besides that, he also served as an offensive analyst for the Wolverines in 2017. And, now, once again, he got the major opportunity to work under his dad with the Raiders.

Apparently, Jr. Turner has been involved with football since his academic years. Before becoming the NFL coach, he played for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas at the quarterback position.

Apart from his NFL career milestone, his bond with Norv Turner also caught attention many times. When he made his return to the Panthers in 2019 as an interim offensive coordinator, his dad’s reaction went viral. “That was Scott’s job,” Norv Turner remarked. It indeed showcased his involvement in his son’s career. The athletic environment his dad provided helped Scott to shape his NFL trajectory.

Norv Turner also shares a healthy bond with his actress daughter, Stephanie. Apart from her acting skills, she is a well-known filmmaker. She caught significant attention for her role in a romantic comedy movie, Monster-in-Law, that was released in 2005. Besides this, Stephanie also touched many hearts with her role in the television series 7th Heaven, which has 11 seasons. Additionally, Turner’s daughter rocked in the television series, CSI: NY and Dirt.

Besides her accomplishments in acting, she produced Justine, a film with her husband. This film earned significant attention during the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2019. They both also run a production company, Football Brat Productions. She also won Best Performance at the 2019 Napa Valley Film Festival.

Apart from their professional career, her personal bond with her parents also drew attention to Norv Turner’s 40th anniversary. Through an Instagram post, she expressed her love for her parents. “Happy 40 anniversary to my parents, Nancy and Norv Turner. It all started in the USC football offices and there have been many stops and adventures along the way. Thank you for your endless love and support, and for teaching me what commitment and hard work look like. Love you guys,” she wrote. Indeed, the family is closely knit together and shares a very loving bond.
