Reportedly, Nick’s parents lived in Cedartown, Georgia’s Chubb Town, a tiny community founded by Henry Chubb’s father. Chubbtown is a real Georgian town located approximately an hour and a half from Atlanta and not far from the Alabama border. Nick Chubb attended high school in Cedartown, which is 10 minutes south, after growing up in Cave Spring, which is 10 minutes west. But there’s more to his relationship with Chubbtown than just geography. It stems from his ancestry.

Nick Chubb’s father Henry comes from a farming background and bought more land to raise cattle on. Chubb’s parents played a significant role in his early life and athletic development. His father, Henry, was a football coach and taught Nick the fundamentals of the game from a young age.
