Mike Williams is making it big in the NFL! Drafted 7th overall by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017, his spectacular season in 2021 is quite memorable. But, the ACL injury in the last season was quite concerning. But, with his parents’ constant support, Mike made yet another phenomenal deal in March 2024. By signing a one-year contract with the New York Jets, he has made his parents, Francina Palmer and Wendell Muhammad, proud once again.

Francina Palmer, Mike Williams’ mother, has been a constant figure of support throughout his life. Known for her nurturing presence, Palmer provided the emotional safety net that allowed Mike to navigate the mental and physical challenges of his football career. Since he began to show an interest in football, she ensured that he had all the means available to make it big.

Through all the ups and downs indeed, Francina Palmer has provided rock-solid support to her son. Whether Mike was facing emotional or physical challenges in his career, Francina made sure he never felt alone.

And, acknowledging her support, Mike once made a heartfelt comment, remarking, “My mother is my biggest supporter. She has always been there for me, and I know I can count on her.” His genuine thankfulness towards his mother makes us tear up indeed.

At every key moment, Francina Palmer was there, be it during the 2016 college football season when Mike was playing for Clemson University, or during the NFL draft. Not only this, when Mike Williams suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, she was there to thoroughly support him. Francina Palmer stood by his side to provide him with needed emotional support, and now he is ready to be on the fields again.

Not just his mother, his father Wendell Muhammad has also remained on his side since always, supporting his son’s NFL dream. Not much is known about the personal life of NFL WR Mike Williams’ and his parents. But, he has at times acknowledged his indebtedness to his parent’s support for what he is today.

His entire trajectory has not been smooth, riddled with injuries. Whether it was the recent ACL tear, or suffering a neck injury in 2015, Mike has come out stronger, and even fiercer than before. And one can definitely say that his parents are very much proud of him!
