Kaden Elliss has a rich background in American football not just because of his personal experience, but the fact that he comes from a football-loving family. Almost everybody in the Elliss family is involved with the sport in one way or another and you’ll have fun getting to know who his parents are.

The linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons was born 29 years ago in Utah to Rebecca and Luther Elliss. That’s right, the veteran NFL athlete Luther is the father of Kaden Elliss. If you are a little unfamiliar with the history that Luther has, keep reading and find out.

Kaden Elliss’ father was a star in his time

For the most part, Elliss used to be up in the suite of the stadium, playing with his action figures, not knowing what the surrounding people were cheering for. Little did the young one realize that his father’s position as a defensive tackle wooed the viewers back then.

Luther Elliss was a star athlete for the Detroit Lions back in the day. He contributed to the defense of the team by being on the frontline, handling things as a defensive tackle. Nine out of the 10 seasons that Luther played in the NFL, were spent with the Lions.

His mother, Rebecca, on the other hand, was not a sports person, but supported Kaden’s father during the games. The meals in their home on the big table, which happens to be a fond memory of those who grew up in the Elliss family, were often prepared by Kaden’s mother. But Kaden and his father aren’t the only football enthusiasts in the household. In fact, they have plenty of others who are into the sport.

The incredible football spirit in the Elliss household

With the affiliation that the Elliss family had with the Lions, this team grew up to be Kaden’s favorite. Although he is not a part of them, he still has respect for them because of his father’s history in the league. The Atlanta Falcons LB happens to be the eldest child of all the children. He was followed by Olivia, the eldest daughter, and then came Christian. However, this is not where the family stopped. After having three kids of their own, Rebecca and Luther decided to resort to adoption to grant a safe home to children who did not have a stable roof over their heads. Within 18 months, of three, they had six children.

This is not even counting the extended family and the friends that can come along for dinners and family functions. While we know Kaden plays for the Falcons, Christian Elliss is a linebacker for the New England Patriots, while Noah Elliss is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. There are two of their siblings who are collegiate footballers, one more in high school, and the last one is still in middle school. All seem to be growing up to be interested in football, potentially starting their own journey in the NFL. This just goes to show how devoted the Ellisses are when it comes to the world of NFL.
