“It’s definitely been a crazy experience, it’s kinda true (that) you gotta trust the process and stick with it,” remarked Rams‘ football guard Justin Dedich in October 2024. That was when he earned his first NFL start. But what stood behind his journey, was his parents, Bill and Dallas Dedich. Even though he was undrafted into the 2024 draft, he signed with the Rams in April last year. And, his impressive stats backed his football career during college at USC. He even earned the PAC-12 Honorable Mention thrice, while being known for his skills as a utility lineman.
Contributing beyond the fields through free football camps and charitable acts, Justin reflected that “True happiness comes from giving back.” As he continues to excel on- and off-field, his parents are in the front row, cherishing him thoroughly.

Justin’s dad, Bill Dedich, has been his strongest supporter since the early days. Bill believes in his son’s intuitive faculties and “trusts the process,” which has allowed Justin to achieve his dream. Bill is quite active on Instagram, sharing snaps of his family through his account @bdedich. On August 22, 2024, he wished Justin heartfelt birthday wishes, as he wrote, “Happy Birthday Justin! Love you, Son.”
Bill also frequently posts pictures from everyday life with his wife, i.e., Dallas Dedich. Justin’s mom takes pleasure in simple activities, spending time with her family and grandkids, as evidenced by Bill’s IG handle. Bill also posted a photo with Dallas back in June 2022, as he wrote, “Love this lady!… Just sayin.’ He also cherished his wife on her birthday on October 23, 2019, writing, “Happy Birthday to my sweetest friend. Love you Dallas.”
Together, Justin’s parents, Bill and Dallas Dedich own a family business, Vacuum Express, Inc., which they started way back in February 2001. While they started it part-time from their home, later they turned it into a full-fledged business. They have opened stores in various locations, including the Temecula/Murrieta/Menifee Valley, to grow their venture and serve the community.

Bill has staunchly believed that his son harbors the capacity to do great in sports. He recalls that it was his son, Justin, who ascertained that he would stay committed to USC as he remarked, “‘I’m here, I’m a Trojan,'” in an interview given in 2022. Bill is appreciative of Justin’s offensive linemen’s mentality, comparing him to a bouncer. He stated,”The offensive line is the only position on the field where your whole job is to make sure other people are safe. He’s kind of always been the bouncer looking out for the other kids,” in the same article.

When Justin was signed as a free agent deal with the Rams back in April last year, Bill congratulated him, writing, “And the pro career begins congrats.” Even when he was named as USC’s most experienced lineman, and shortlisted for the 2023 Rimington Trophy watch list, Bill wrote, “Proud Papa post… Pretty cool search results on Google today.” At every juncture, his dad has always been there to celebrate his milestones.
