This is a story about a guy from Bakersfield, California who took over the NFL last year with a dominant performance. Yes, it’s Jordan Love we’re talking about here. His father was a sports fanatic and wanted a boy who he could teach sports. His dreams of playing in the NFL were stopped short, and he served as a policeman to support his family for 26 years.
Before Jordan Love was born, his mother Anna, and father Orbin were living a happy life with 3 daughters. However, his father longed for a boy and in 1998, the Love couple brought the future Green Bay Packers quarterback into existence. In July 2013, Love’s father took his own life. It wasn’t depression, but his medical condition was progressively getting worse. Since then, the Cheeseheads QB has found a support system in his 3 sisters. But who are they?
Love is blessed with three sisters, Emily, Kami and Alexis. However, Alexis has a private Instagram account, @ alexis_n_love. However, about 6 years ago or so, Love posted a photo on Instagram titled, “SISTAS💙🤘🏽,” that shows the QB standing beside his sister Alexis on her graduation day. One of their friends commented on the picture saying, “Aww congrats @alexis_n_love I’m so proud of you, I love ya!!!❤️❤️” and Alexis reciprocated, “Thank you, I love you😘.”

Alexis, the youngest sibling, took a whole different approach to her career. Last known information about her is that she was working as a merchandise executive associate at The Home Depot. Just like Alexis, the middle child Emily also took a whole different approach after graduating from Taft College. She now works as a certified dental hygienist and is married to her husband, Judd Hough, and the couple is blessed with one child.
While the siblings have chosen different life trajectories, there’s one thing that binds them together and that’s love and support for each other since their father’s passing. One particular incident comes to mind after Orbin’s sad demise.
Jordan Love and his family persevering through adversities
Love posts a lot of pictures with his fiancé Ronika Stone, but he doesn’t put his family’s business out in the open. However, one thing is clear: after his father’s passing, his sisters and his mother have been a sturdy pillar of support for their quarterback brother. When Love’s father passed on to the afterlife, he nearly quit football. But he’s still playing the game. That too, professionally, thanks to his family.

His family might have convinced him to keep his father’s dream alive and Jordan continued playing basketball, baseball and football. He had a basketball game one day and his mother was there to see him, but his father was not. Orbin promised to be there by tip off but never showed up.
That’s when his mother knew something was wrong because Orbin never missed a game before. One of Jordan’s sisters informed their mother that their father had come home to pick something and that came across as suspicious to his mother. She returned home only to discover the dead body of her husband. A truly harrowing incident.

Love has a special bond with his family, especially with his mother, Anna Love. He went on The Pivot Podcast and shared the story of his life. “My mom, she’s awesome,” Love said. “She’s a superstar. She is always looking out for me and making sure everything is good with me and my sisters. She’s awesome. A blessing.”
Jordan Love, his mother, his sisters have stuck together through the thick and thin. While we don’t know a lot about his family as he likes to keep it private, there’s no doubt that Jordan Love wouldn’t be playing football if it weren’t for his family.
