The Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy would not have been here if he listened to his mother’s advice. She wanted him to take care of himself, and not play the violent game. But he loved the game. Even when his parents split, he found peace in the game.

It was his only outlet to take out any hidden negative feelings. Years later, his life changed when he was selected into the NFL. But this would not have happened without his parents’ support. They were there at every moment to guide him.

When she was only 14, Marie came to the USA from Haiti. When she got married to Tercius Jeudy, the couple started their family. They had 4 children, the eldest son Terry, and daughter, Diane, followed by the 3rd child, Jerry Jeudy, and 4th daughter, Aaliyah. They later divorced each other when Jerry was young.

However, Marie made sure that everything was in order. She sold purses and lotions from her car to earn money. She often took them back to Haiti so that they stayed connected to their roots. But she did not want Jerry Jeudy to play the sport. Though he initially agreed, he later started sneaking out of his house to play at a place called Bank Street. There, he also met Lamar Jackson who taught him how to juke.

When Marie found out, she was angry, but she let him play the game. He did well for himself as he went to play in the NCAA for Alabama. She was there with him then, too. His father Tercius stayed in touch with him and his siblings and made sure that they were on the right track.
