“Jaylen’s has been a real good hot hand for us of late,” Mike Tomlin, Steelers head coach praised him for his spectacular performances on Friday on Mike Tomlin show.  On the Christmas Day game against the Chiefs, Jaylen Warren amazingly recorded 112 total yards.  And, such appreciation from the head coach truly solidifies his status in the league. Since he signed the $2.5 million contract deal with the Steelers in 2022, he has continued to astonish his fans with his breathtaking records.

In 2023, he made waves for rushing over 1,000 YRDS with Najee Harris. Besides this, during his last two seasons, he scored 1,163 rushing YRDS and 5 impressive TDS in total of his 33 regular-season games. And, in the 2024 season, he keeps dominating the fields. Interestingly, over the past two games, his role in the offense has increased dramatically as he has been the RB20 & RB7 in weekly scoring. With a 60% snap rate, 102 total yards, and 16.5 touches per game, he showcased his exceptional abilities. But, obviously, his successful career trajectory is incomplete without mentioning his mom, Neta Warren, and dad, Darren Warren.

Steelers standout RB shares a healthy bond with his parents. His dad, Derrick Warren has been his greatest supporter throughout his life. And, he is greatly inspired by his dad’s occupation. He is a devotional businessman who designs and sells jewelry crafted from crystals and beads.

In addition, Derrick Warren also runs a YouTube channel, Mania Mindfulness. Through this online video-sharing platform, Jaylen Warren’s father shares his thoughts on spirituality and mental health.

And, of course, taking lessons from his dad, he has established his name in the NFL. However, not only his dad, but his mom, Neta Warren equally influenced him throughout his life journey. However, his parents split up when he was young. Despite their separation, they have supported him throughout his journey.

Warren’s mom, Neta Warren, often appreciates him for his career milestones. “Nothing more rewarding than seeing your kid’s dream come true.   CONGRATULATIONS JAYLEN!! You earned it!! LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!” she earlier mentioned in her Facebook account when Jaylen made his way to the NFL.

Not only this, around a year back on January 17, 2024, she applauded her NFL son for his outstanding performance during last season. Through an FB post, she shared a heartfelt note with some eye-catching snaps. “Great job this season @jayyyy3k! You did GREAT!!💪🏽 Time to relax (just a lil bit) before getting back on the grind. 😊 Love  you & am so proud of you! ,” she mentioned in her post.

Moreover, Neta Warren, who currently serves in human relations often cheers Jaylen at most of his NFL games. Besides being as most supportive mom, she also had a close connection with former Steelers player, Troy Polamalu’s family members. Jaylen’s mom finished high school with her Polamalu family members.  And, earlier, she revealed the amazing transformation that pushed him into the NFL.

Jaylen Warren’s mother spills the beans on her son’s transformation

Jaylen Warren’s mother who is currently residing in Stevenson Ranch, California previously shed light on her son’s transformation. As per a report published by the Progress on Dec 29, 2024, Neta Warren recalled his unbelievable transformation to football stardom. “That boy loves to eat,” she stated.

Apart from that, she also expressed her concern about his daunting diet. “We were worried about that. The biggest thing was his diet. He always loved to work out, but he loved to eat, which was worrisome for us.” Later on, he followed his mom’s advice. And, he “started to get disciplined.”

His throwback pictures from his time at high school and Snow Junior College uploaded on Instagram, are a testament to the dramatic change in his appearance. Following his mom’s advice, he led his team to an unbeaten season at the age of 10. Later, he was all set to play in the championship game.

But, unfortunately, he missed that game since his grades kept dropping. After this setback, he was upset. But, it was his mom, who kept him motivated at that time. She took him to watch that game from the stands. “It was huge to him. I let him stand on the sideline and watch the team, but he was so bummed. I just said, ‘I hope you learned a lesson,” she recalled.

Thus, with his mom’s unwavering support, he excelled at Oklahoma State, Snow College, and Utah State. And of course, Neta pushed him to achieve his NFL aspirations. Earlier, when the Steelers signed the 3 years contract with him, his mom exhibited her wholesome feelings.

“For us, it’s just surreal that he’s even in the NFL with the long road he took and even making it to his second year,” Neta Warren stated. “I still don’t grasp that he’s even there. He even asks me, ‘Mom, isn’t it crazy you have a son in the NFL?’ Uh, yeah,” she further added.

And, previously before entering the NFL, in 2017, Jaylen Warren reflected his deep love and sentiments for his loving mom through an IG post. “My All,” he mentioned in his post caption, adding an adorable snap of them together. It indeed demonstrated the NFL RB’s strong bond with his mom.
