Does Jason Sanders owe his NFL success more to his talent or his brothers' unwavering support?

Jason Sanders has a strong support system! Miami Dolphins kicker made waves in Week 11 with his double-digit fantasy points against the Raiders. Since the Dolphins drafted him as the seventh-round pick in the  2018 NFL draft, he secured many accolades in the NFL.

In 2020, he showcased his on-field dominance by securing a First-team All-Pro nomination. Besides that, on many occasions, he showcased his football skills. During the Dolphins vs Ravens game in 2022, he amazingly converted a career-high six extra-point attempts. It drew notable attention to him. And, he made all this possible because of the strong backing from his brothers. Seemingly, NFL Kicker’s Brothers Andrew and Matthew are his biggest cheerleaders.

Jason Sanders shares a healthy bond with his three brothers, Andrew, Matthew, and Daniel. Interestingly, just like his father, Thomas Sanders, his brothers, Andrew, and Matthew also serve in the US military. Allegedly, they both have been working as the Air Force and aircraft maintainers at the duty air station in Washington.

Beyond their professional background, it is no wonder that they played vital roles in shaping his football journey. According to Andrew’s Instagram profile, he is also a sports enthusiast just like Jason. Seemingly, Andrew loves to play soccer.

Around 9 years back in 2015, Andrew’s expressed his love for soccer through an IG post. “Because life is so much better with a soccer ball at your feet,” he mentioned in his pots caption. It indeed showcased his passion for soccer.

And, impressively, prior to his football journey, Jason, 28 was also a soccer player. Reportedly, Sanders began his career at Villa Park High in Orange, California, as a soccer player. Though, later, after the football coach encouraged him to try his hand at it, he joined his elder brother as the team’s kicker.

However, there is very limited info available about his brother Daniel, nicknamed, Dan Sanders. As per his IG profile, he was too involved in running and loves to do adventures.

However, Jason often receives praise from his brothers.  Many times before, their brotherly bond went viral on the internet.

Andrew’s IG posts are enough to showcase their loving brotherly bond. Apparently, from Jason’s first college football match at the University of New Mexico to till date, he has been his constant support. Seemingly, the Dolphins kicker’s elder brother, Andrew never missed the chance to cheer for him.

In 2024, when Jason was all set to play his first college football game, Andrew showcased his excitement through an IG post. “University of New Mexico season opener. Brother’s first college football game. 🏈 #95 #golobos #futurepro,” he mentioned in his post.

Not only this, Andrew is often seen to adore his brother. When Jason carved his way to the NFL in 2018, he expressed his proud feelings for his brother. “So excited for this man. Worked so hard for this opportunity to be drafted by the Dolphins,” he mentioned in his post caption.

Last year, on December 23, Andrew also shouted out loud for his NFL brother.  “Let’s go!! Have yourself a game!! Celly game too strong #FinsUp,” he wrote in his post caption.

Seemingly, Andrew does not only applaud his on-field achievements but, he equally cherishes his off-field accomplishments. Last year, in July 2023, when the NFL kicker tied the knot with his wife, Kaitlyn Calabuig, Andrew sent good wishes to them. “Congratulations on a great wedding. Love ya both,” he wrote.

Not only, Andrew, but, Jason Sanders also receives immense support from his other brother, Daniel. His adoration for his brother is also clearly visible in many of his IG posts.

Back in December 2019, when Jason posted his first touchdown pass, Dan celebrated this special moment. “FAKE FIELD GOAL!! @jasonsandersss first NFL TD reception and first reception by kicker since 1977 #finsup,” he mentioned in his post.

Not only this but in 2019, Dan also posted a picture with his adorable daughter to cheer him up. “Game day! Let’s go Uncle @jasonsandersss #finsup,” he mentioned in his post. It indeed showcased the strong bonding and affection between Sanders’ brothers.
